We were tired of the cruise bus tours. We are on a 128 day world cruise. This tour was phenomenal. VU was a great guide. Provided history updates and great commentary on all the sites while leading us to the major sites . Six course meal at local restaurant.

I booked a tour in Japanese during the Chinese New Year, when all Japanese tours were canceled. However, I was able to communicate in basic English and Chinese, and received very good service. Because the boat was large, there was little rocking, and I even felt seasick. The seafood buffet was delicious, but drinks are generally ordered. Bottled drinks brought in are strictly controlled to protect the environment.

The itineary was quite full and there were a lot to see in the Marble Mountain and Hui On City. I thanked our guide Nam for his very thorough and interested introduction of the history and stories of the places we visited. Our request to visit a church on route was also entertained gladly. Thanks to our driver as the rerurn journey was long especially due to the traffice jam when local people drove their motorcycles home after work. We reached the port on time.
