This day trip experience truly exceeded my expectations! Bingling Temple was beautiful and not crowded at all! The speedboat tour of the Yellow River Three Gorges was an amazing experience! Highly recommended! The key point is that our driver, Mr. Liu, really made the whole trip even better! He drove incredibly smoothly the entire way, even on the mountain roads, which made us feel very safe. He frequently drives this route, so he knows the locals very well. When we mentioned wanting to buy peaches, he immediately called the orchard owner so we could pick them ourselves from the trees, and even taste some to see which tree had the sweetest peaches (of course, we only tried one, as the farmers work hard). The peaches were only 10 yuan for 3 jin (1.5 catties), and the local farmers were truly honest and kind. Along the way, he also proactively introduced the scenery and recommended places to eat and visit in Lanzhou, speaking in a humorous and friendly manner. On the way back, he offered to treat us to watermelon. For the seven of us, he bought a huge watermelon weighing 13 jin (6.5 catties), haha! The watermelon was incredibly sweet! In short, with such a thoughtful and reliable driver, the entire day trip was relaxed and enjoyable. A perfect score is definitely warranted!
