[eSIM usage terms]
1. The device supports eSIM functionality
How to check: On the phone dialer interface, dial *#06#. Generally, the presence of an EID indicates eSIM support. If there is no EID, eSIM cannot be used.
2. The phone is not carrier-locked.
How to check: Confirm with your carrier whether your device is network-locked.
*Please check if you meet all the above conditions before purchasing. The eSIM can only be used normally if all requirements are satisfied.
[Set up eSIM]
Installing the eSIM requires an Internet connection. Make sure to install it when connected to a stable network (some airport Wi-Fi may cause installation failure). Installing it in a non-destination country/region and enabling data roaming will render the eSIM invalid or cause premature calculation of usage duration.
[Disable domestic SIM card roaming]
Before using an eSIM, be sure to disable data roaming on your domestic SIM card to avoid incurring high international roaming charges from using your domestic mobile data network. You are responsible for all related fees, including roaming charges, overseas SIM card/eSIM purchase costs, and transportation expenses, with no additional subsidies provided.
[Internet coverage]
The actual signal strength, Internet speed, and 4G/5G service display may vary depending on your region, local carrier network coverage, device compatibility, as well as environmental factors such as terrain, building obstructions, and weather conditions.
Maintaining fair internet usage principles
To maintain internet connection quality and uphold the fair usage policy (FUP), telecom companies worldwide may implement traffic control measures for users who consume large amounts of data within a short period, which could result in inability to connect or slower speeds. To ensure normal internet access, please avoid prolonged video streaming/downloading, software updates, hotspot sharing, or other high-traffic activities.
