**Picking season: The first batch of mushrooms can appear as early as mid-May. Late July to early October is the peak picking season for most mushrooms and berries. When the berry picking season begins, mushrooms are not heavily picked because the quantity of berries is greater than that of mushrooms.
Berries and mushrooms are wild seasonal crops that grow according to the season and are highly affected by the climate. Our activity takes place in nature, and the guide will try their best to find places where wild crops grow, but we may not always find berries or mushrooms. However, the experience of foraging for berries is a traditional activity in Lapland. We hope this activity allows you to experience Finnish daily life.
* All products require a minimum of 2 participants to depart (4 participants on weekends and holidays). Solo travelers can also sign up (join-in tour assistance available). If the minimum number of participants is not met, the itinerary will be changed or the booking will be canceled. If your travel date is not available on the calendar, groups of 4 or more can contact us to open a new departure date.
* Please note: The departure time may vary depending on the season and daily bookings. Please follow the meeting time indicated on your email confirmation and arrive at the designated meeting point 5-10 minutes early for pickup. If you are late, the guide will not wait, and you will need to proceed to the activity venue on your own.
Itinerary A: Lapland Wilderness Berry and Mushroom Picking
The guide will take you to the pristine forests of Lapland for a day of exchanging energy with nature! In the tranquil woods, follow the trails deeper to experience the relaxing embrace of the wilderness. Along the way, admire the scenery while picking wild berries and mushrooms, occasionally hearing birdsong and spotting animal tracks. As you reach the higher elevations of the forest, enjoy panoramic views of Lapland's beauty. The guide will build a campfire where we'll grill sausages together, offering you an authentic Lapland-style picnic!

Itinerary B: Lapland Life - Berry and Mushroom Picking + Wild Fishing + Lakeside Sauna + BBQ Lunch
Your guide will take you to the pristine forests of Lapland for a day of connecting with nature's energy! Follow the trails deep into the tranquil forest and feel the relaxation of being enveloped by nature. Along the way, enjoy the scenery while picking wild berries and mushrooms, occasionally hearing birdsong and seeing the tracks of small animals. Deep in the forest, your guide will prepare a wilderness bonfire for you to experience grilling fish fillets with birch charcoal in the Lappish way, enjoying a leisurely time in the Lapland forest. After lunch, we will go to a secluded body of water to start fishing. In the evening, we will enjoy a sauna in a log cabin within the lakeside forest and watch the sunset.
