The Coliseum of El Jem is simply the 3rd largest amphitheater in the Roman world after those of Rome and Capua, and perhaps the best preserved. Indeed his visit amazes with its architecture and the genius developed for its construction. The site is logically classified as World Heritage by UNESCO since 1979.
