Reviews: Reykjavik: City Walking tour in Small Group with Local Guide
Guest User2026-02-15
Really useful and informative walk around Reykjavik, we did this on our first day. It took us to places that we wouldn’t have known about, so returned afterwards ourselves for a more relaxed look around. Well worth going, so would recommend. There were only 8 of us on the tour. Sorry, can’t remember the guides name.

The trip went smoothly and the driver were explaining the sightseeing through the trip. Coming back to the city we're left close to the hotel which we appreciated very much

It really couldn't have been better; it was the best tour I've ever done. Our guide, Jon, was fantastic—knowledgeable, created a great atmosphere, and had everything under control. The bus driver also did a great job, even on such a long journey, and we always felt safe. And then, completely unexpectedly, the Northern Lights appeared in the evening, and we had plenty of time to see and photograph them. Another wonderful surprise for me: the waterfall at night—I hadn't expected that at all (plus the Northern Lights, a dream come true).

We had a wonderful day out. The glacier visit is fascinating and we really enjoyed it. A beautiful country with so much to see that will be gone when the ice melts. Climate changes are taking their toll It is a long day but worth it and we had a very entertaining guide in Paul
