Product details

▲ [Kamikochi] -Jiuzhaigou, Japan Kamikochi is located in the southern part of the Hida Mountains in western Nagano Prefecture, Japan, with an altitude of about 1,500 meters. The entire area belongs to Matsumoto City and is part of the Chubu Sangaku National Park. It not only has hot springs, but also serves as a hiking trail.

▲ As the temperature in Kamikochi is unstable, it is recommended to wear comfortable and light sports shoes, and bring a raincoat, umbrella, hat, sunglasses and a jacket so that you can adjust your clothing according to the weather changes. June: The temperature at noon is usually 12 to 17°C, and it is recommended to wear a long-sleeved thin shirt or sweater. July-August: The temperature at noon is usually 18 to 22°C. September: The temperature at noon is usually 14 to 18°C. October: The temperature at noon is usually 10 to 13°C

▲ Kamikochi - Hiking (The following are two recommended hiking routes, please choose according to your physical fitness) Route 1: Taisho Pond bus Stop > Taisho Pond > Tashiro Pond > Kappa Bridge > Kamikochi bus Stop This is a beginner-friendly route that allows you to visit all the important attractions in Kamikochi without having to go back. The entire route is about 3.5km and can be completed in about 1-1.5 hours. The trail is flat and easy to walk, and the magnificent mountain scenery along the way will make you linger.

▲ Kamikochi - Hiking Route 2: Kamikochi bus Station > Kappa Bridge > Myojin Bridge > Hotaka Shrine Okumiya & Myojin Pond > Takezawa Wetland > Kamikochi bus Station For those with more energy and time, we recommend walking along the Azusa River to Myojin Bridge. The round Round-trip is about 5.6 kilometers and takes about 2 to 2.5 hours. Along the way, you can enjoy the magnificent mountain and riverside scenery, and enjoy the tranquility that is different from the Kappa Bridge.

▲ [Taisho Pond] Taisho Pond is a volcanic lake formed by the eruption of Yakedake volcano. The dead trees in the lake present different dreamy scenery with the change of seasons and time.

▲ [Tashiro Pond] Tashiro Pond is a shallow wetland. The fresh green in May, the yellow leaves in October, and the thin ice in late autumn are all amazing sights.

▲ [Myojin Pond] It takes about 60 minutes to walk from Kappa Bridge along the upstream of Azusa River to Myojin. This is the sacred area of Hotaka Shrine Okumiya. There are abundant wild plants and birds around, which is a good place to quietly feel the tranquility of nature.

▲ [Kappa Bridge] Kappa Bridge is a landmark attraction in Kamikochi, only a 5-minute walk from the bus center. It attracts a large number of domestic and foreign tourists during the May long holiday, summer vacation and the autumn leaves season.

▲ [Hotaka Mountain Range] The Hotaka Mountain Range is an indispensable part of Kamikochi and can be enjoyed from various scenic spots. Among them, Oku-Hotaka is the third highest peak in Japan and is known as one of the "100 Famous Mountains in Japan", "One Hundred Famous Mountains in New Japan" and "100 Famous Mountains of Flowers".

▲ [Hotaka Shrine Okumiya] At the shrine office of Hotaka Shrine Okumiya, you can buy Okumiya limited edition amulets. In addition, in front of Hotaka Shrine Okumiya, there is a rest area called "Kamonji Hut", which has a long history since its establishment in 1880.
