I'm a European exchange student living in Germany. Knowing that I could conveniently travel to other countries by train, I purchased a Eurail Pass. At the time, there was a promotional discount of about 20%, so I got it for about €100 less. I was very satisfied with the price. I could choose to use 15 days within two months, which was incredibly convenient. I highly recommend it.★

Do the self pace tour! My wife and I tried to book last minute with the English speaking tour, but were unsuccessful. So we opted to do the self guided tour and it was amazing. You don’t really need a guide for this tour, just transportation because it’s far from Paris.★

I'm so glad we booked this guided tour. The Louvre is so much bigger that I ever expected so to have a wonderful guide like Gabriella, with her extensive knowledge made such a difference in understanding the many different time periods and artefacts on display. You could literally stay all day or come for multiple days to get through it all. 100% recommend this tour rather than fumbling around on your own trying to work it all out.★
