It was easy to exchange the voucher with the bus driver. Boarding and disembarking were possible at the cruise port. We only got off once during the trip to have a meal break and didn't have to wait long for another bus to continue our journey. Since it had rained a bit, several of the upper seats were unusable, which was a shame. There should have been wipes available to dry the seats. The bus traveled quite fast, so it was difficult to take photos along the way. The audio commentary was easy to understand.

It was truly amazing. Felt safe the entire trip and also as someone who can’t swim I was helped by our amazing guides and could trust all of them. We had lot of fun and truly an unforgettable experience. I would 100% recommend, if you only do one excursion in Madeira, do this one.

Who ever said 70+ people can do this are lying unless they are super super fit. Expect to climb a lot of stairs. It was a great experience over all. You can definitely see how far your limit is with this hike. Would recommend.
