This program is designed for anyone who wants to learn more about elephants and observe our beautiful rescued elephants foraging in the jungle. The morning itinerary includes a series of elephant care activities, kicking off your adventure. Enjoy feeding the elephants, then participate in a mud bath with them and help them bathe in the river. After lunch, accompany the elephants on a walk through the dense jungle. Maintain a safe distance while they leisurely roam and forage in the forest, observing and photographing them.
- Itinerary Introduction:
06:30-07:00 Waiting for pick-up in the hotel lobby.
07:00-08:00 It takes about 1.5 hours to drive south from Chiang Mai, passing through rolling hills, forests and local farmland.
09:30 After arriving at the Elephant Jungle Reserve, we changed into traditional Karen clothing.
09:45-12:00 Get up close and personal with elephants, feeding, interacting, and playing in their natural environment, learning about their behavior and history. Experience a mud bath with the elephants, strolling along the riverbank to bathe them.
Enjoy a traditional meal from 12:00 to 13:00, then say goodbye to the elephants.
13:15 Travel with elephants through dense jungle for about 1.5 hours. Observe and photograph them leisurely strolling and foraging from a safe distance.
14:45 Say goodbye to your new elephant friends and continue your walk through the beautiful local countryside to the second elephant bush sanctuary.
At 15:30, we left the elephant jungle reserve and drove for about 1.5 hours to reach Chiang Mai.
Arrive at your departure hotel at 17:00.
