Many people know this place through Korean dramas, but I discovered it when I celebrated a quiet birthday here in 2013. Although it was January, the weather wasn't particularly cold, and with far fewer travelers around, I had the entire ocean to myself.
Later, Dilraba's check-in made this place an overnight sensation, sparking widespread admiration.
A lighthouse stands atop the mountain, offering panoramic views of the town and the turbulent waves crashing against the cliffs below. Stroll along the ancient city walls, touch the timeworn stones, and admire the medieval castle set against white houses, golden stones, and azure waters - a truly spectacular sight. Every turn reveals a new picturesque scene. This location served as a filming site for "The Legend of the Blue Sea," starring Jun Ji-hyun and Lee Min-ho. The bicycle-riding scene between the leads in episode 2 was shot in this historic mountain town.
