[Official Ticket] JR Setouchi Area Pass 7-Day (e-ticket)

The rail pass is valid only for the holder.

When using a rail pass, you must carry your passport as JR staff may request to see it.

Detached magnetic coupons are invalid.

No reissuance for lost or stolen items.

The usage rules for rail passes are clearly stated in the passenger terms of JR West Japan and Japanese law.

The redemption voucher usage rules are those clearly stated in the issuing company's regulations and contract terms.

If there is any discrepancy between the foreign language version and the Japanese version of the passenger terms, the Japanese version shall prevail.

Purchase eligibility

1. Hold a passport issued by a government other than Japan.

2. Hold a residence status equivalent to "short-term stay"

"Short-term stay" is a status of residence stipulated by Japan's Immigration Control Act.

Booking notices

1. After successful booking, the platform will automatically send a booking confirmation email to the email address provided by the guest.

2. Please present the received verification code or QR code, along with the non-Japanese passport of the booker, and exchange for a physical ticket at the designated station ticket machine (please refer to the image below).

Station ticket machines are available in five languages: Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, and Korean.

Note: If the ticket machine is faulty or your passport does not have an IC chip, please go to the Green Window at the designated station to exchange for a physical ticket.

3. Successfully exchanged for a physical travel pass.

4. Collect reserved seat ticket: Please exchange your physical pass for a reserved seat ticket at the green ticket machine before use.

[JR West Japan Rail Pass Reserved Seat Exchange Notes]

1. Different travel passes can be redeemed for different frequencies of reserved seat tickets. For details, please check the product page.

2. For trains with reserved seats, please check each product page.

3. Reserved seats for the travel pass require separate redemption (book at green ticket machines or green ticket windows).

4. When designated seat tickets are sold out or if you haven't exchanged for a reserved seat ticket in advance, you can use the pass to board non-reserved seating directly.

5. For the travel pass product that allows unlimited exchanges for designated seat tickets, when using the 7th time or more, you need to make a manual reservation at the ticket office and cannot exchange directly at the machine.
