The tour guide plans the itinerary according to the weather. When it looked like it would rain, he told us to go to other attractions first, and the waterfall would be last, so we only got a little rain (the original itinerary would have left us soaked until the end). Along the way, the guide told us stories about Iceland, introduced the attractions, and reminded us of important things to note – he was incredibly kind! It was a wonderful experience! (I chose the English version!)★

It was an amazing day, unforgetable experience and out-of-this-world views. Our guide has been sharing information but also stories with us and it was really cool to learn more about people living in Iceland and the history of the country this way. Because of the season we did not have a lot of time of sunlight but I was surprised by just how much we managed to see. It was great! And we got to the Diamond Beach just in time for the prettiest sunset ever, it was like a dream.★

This experience was one of the most hands down one of the best days of my entire life! Every stop was more breathtaking than the last, everyone was so lovely in our group too. Our guide Ian was masterful: incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about Iceland. He ensured we had the most awe-inspiring day and I cannot thank him enough. He is a real treasure! He shared fascinating stories and facts that brought each place to life, all while keeping the day perfectly organised and jam-packed. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to explore, take photos, and soak in the scenery. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough — if you’re visiting Iceland, this is an absolute must-do. An unforgettable experience and worth every penny! The experience is priceless. I will certainly be using Gateway to Iceland during my next trip.
