Visit the majestic Table Mountain, Cape of Good Hope, Muizenberg, and more, immersing yourself in the diverse culture and historical heritage of this land. Enjoy an optional lunch at your own expense and savor local delicacies along the way.
First stop: Table Mountain National Park, voted as one of the new seven wonders of nature. The guide will accompany you to take the cable car directly to the summit, allowing you to leisurely explore Table Mountain and fully appreciate its magnificent scenery. Note: The Table Mountain itinerary will be arranged based on the day's weather and cable car operation status. If the cable car is not operating, the visit will be adjusted accordingly.
Depart from Table Mountain, passing through the residential area of Camps Bay, then head to the Atlantic coast of the peninsula. Continue onward, passing by Llandudno and Hout Bay, which is renowned for its thriving fishing industry. There, you can opt for a boat tour before driving to the world-famous Chapman's Peak Drive.
Take a brief stop at Chapman's peak drive, a mountain road locally known as "chappies," offering stunning views of the sea and mountains along the way. This road is an engineering marvel, winding for 10 km along the towering Chapman's peak range, where the mountains seem to cascade into the sea like an avalanche.
The southern end of Chapman's Peak Drive is Noordhoek, an Afrikaans word meaning "north corner." This area was originally farmland where farmers grew fruits and vegetables to supply ships docking at Simon's Town.
Continue forward with a brief stop at the ostrich farm to observe the largest birds on earth and listen to the guide's explanation about related bird knowledge.
Then proceed to the Cape of Good Hope nature reserve, located at the southwestern tip of Africa. The abundant plant and animal resources make it a biodiversity hotspot.
Make a brief stop at the old Cape of Good Hope lighthouse, Cape of Good Hope nature reserve, and South Africa's Cape of Good Hope. You can walk or take the cable car (optional) up to the ancient lighthouse to enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the national park.
The next stop is the penguin colony at Boulders Beach, where you can observe African penguins up close, followed by lunch at your own expense in Simon's Town. After the meal, continue to Muizenberg to admire the colorful beach huts from the hilltop. Then proceed to the Bo-Kaap Malay Quarter before finally returning to Cape Town.
