In 2002, Qiandao Lake Scenic Area was rated as a Chinese Demonstration Scenic attraction for Protecting the Rights of Tourism Consumers and a Zhejiang Teenager Civilization Demonstration attraction. In 2010, Qiandao Lake Scenic Area was rated as a national AAAAA-level attraction.
