The island fee for Mabul Island is 50 MYR, payable by yourself or by scanning a QR code. It's truly beautiful, filled with flowers and Bajau people selling coconuts. It's not ideal for snorkeling, perhaps due to the presence of overwater bungalows. However, the instructors are very helpful. Overall, it's best to just enjoy the scenery and take photos. I recommend our guide, Chen Kaixin; he's super fun and awesome!★

A couple of days ago, I went to another pier, the one for the visitor center on this itinerary. It was a 16-minute walk from my hotel, so I decided to walk there. Then, along the way, I witnessed a scene I'll never forget. One place I passed looked like a garbage dump; I walked along the wooden boardwalk, and the area around the boardwalk was littered with trash, accompanied by a strange smell. After passing that, I decided I would never go to Semporna again.
Perhaps we've seen garbage dumps in China before, but this was Semporna! Sigh! Even at the visitor center, there was a lot of trash under the wooden huts…
The boats from the conch shell were a bit dilapidated; you sit along the sides of the boat, and I was worried about accidentally capsizing (though it probably wouldn't). There were only nine of us that day, so there wasn't much service. It was just a boat trip to Mabul Island, followed by free time and then back.★

Absolutely recommended, the whole journey is centered on divers, snorkeling will also take care of, remember to make an appointment in advance. Turtles are everywhere, wolf fish storms are extremely shocking.
