Reviews: Day Trip Bucharest : Dracula Castle, Peles Castle and Brasov

I booked Peles Castle, Bran, and Brasov, but instead of Brasov, I ended up with a strange, albeit beautiful, place. I could have spent more time in Peles than in Bran.

After reading reviews of this tour, I expected to be forgotten somewhere, threatened with extra money, treated rudely, and so on. And, at the very least, an old and dirty bus. BUT! The tour was wonderful! The bus was comfortable, the driver was awesome, and the guide, Mattia, was attentive and polite. He kept a list of all the passengers, checked and counted them at every stop, and when necessary, ran around looking for latecomers. We bought tickets to Peles Castle online and went to see it ourselves. In Brasov, we went to the Black Church and then ate at the Gustsri restaurant. To sum it up: the tour was worth every penny, a pure pleasure!

I found the experience truly wonderful. Our guide, Otilia, spoke excellent Italian and was extremely knowledgeable about everything! Our driver, Claudio, was also very professional.

Our guide Vlad was awesome! He told us interesting stories about Romania and history of the castles. Tour was very organized and fun. Castles are great and everyone should visit them in Romania. Highly recommended tour, thank you Vlad!

What a fantastic way to see the countryside of Romania! Our tour guide, Sonia, was superb! We cannot say enough about how friendly, helpful and and knowledgeable she is. Made this trip the best we have done. One note if caution, the castles, particularly Bran Castle, requires walking up very steep inclines and and lot of steps...well worth it but be prepared.
Reviews: Sinaia and Brasov in one day

We booked a tour in Hebrew and travelled comfortably in a tourbus with A/C, led by tour guide Alex (great guy with lots of humour). After going with the cabin cable car to the mountain tops near Sinaia (which was extremely foggy that day) and afterwards checking out beautiful Peles castle we went to the so-called Dracula castle in Bran. Instead of going for a tour in the Bran castle itself we decided to explore the local market to shop some local crafts and do a round in a chamber of horrors (way more creepy than the castle). The day finished with our last stop in the amazing city of Brasov (Kronstadt), were we could explore the old city and see witness to it's long history of a place where Germans, Hungarians and Romanians - Christians and Jews - came together. The local synagogue was unfortunately already closed for Shabbat that day, would have been nice to see its interior and design. However, we finished with a nice meal in a local restaurant. What we liked about doing this tour with this agency was the uncomplicated communication with the agency via WhatsApp. They took care of the fact that we are following a vegan diet and helped u with recommendations. One hint: if you go to a Romanian restaurant and say you are vegan it doesn't mean you will be served fully vegan since people often don't understand the concept. Instead tell them that you are fasting and they will serve you only plant-based food.
