Skydiving on the famous beach on the Gold Coast! This price is to compensate for the introduction of compulsory personal accident insurance (for all passengers under 70 years old), ensuring you are fully protected while skydiving. We prefer to include this additional cost in our advertised prices rather than charging a hidden fee on the day. Skydiving is called life’s thrilling experience, and for good reason. It is the standard by which all other adventure and excitement is measured. Surprisingly, the buzz of freefall is a relaxing and safe experience, especially on a tandem skydiving adventure. On the ground, you will put on your skydiving gear and your professional skydiving instructor will conduct some pre-jump training - practicing your exit. You will also be taught the basics of skydiving, such as wing control and safe landing procedures. Once you're confident in your skydiving knowledge, you'll enjoy a 20-minute flight to an altitude of approximately 12,000 feet. After a final check, it's time to jump out and make a quick descent - straight onto the beach! The charm of skydiving is that it does not require the usual intensive skydiving training, but it can provide 100% shocking open-air excitement of 200 kilometers per hour. The feeling is often described as floating on a cushion of air, hurtling through the sky at 7,500 feet in 45 seconds. The jump unfolds at approximately 4,500 feet, offering an intensely tranquil experience and one of the world's greatest views - perfect for reflecting on the high-adrenaline skydiving adventure you just enjoyed. Within 5 minutes of taxiing to the ground, you'll be taught how to control direction and descent speed, and once you land, you'll be excited for weeks - guaranteed. If you want to book less than 24 hours in advance, you must call the office to confirm availability. If necessary, someone will be able to help you after hours. *Minimum age for skydiving is 16 years old. *There must be a 24-hour gap between the last scuba dive and the skydive.
