How to use
[Install eSIM]
Before installation, please make sure:
1. Your device supports eSIM and is not carrier-locked.
2. Your phone is connected to a stable mobile network or Wi-Fi.
 
After the first installation, the eSIM will be bound to the current device and cannot be installed on or transferred to another device. Please confirm your device before installation.
 
Method 1: One-Tap Installation
Tap the “Install” button in the Trip.com app or use the “One-Tap Install” link in your order voucher to complete installation.(iOS 17.4 or later is required for iOS devices.)
 
Method 2: Scan QR Code / Manual Installation (Universal)
1. Open the QR code attachment in your Trip.com order and print it out or save it on another device in advance. (For iOS 17 or above and some Android devices, the QR code image can be saved directly to the phone.)
2. Go to “Settings” → “Cellular/Mobile Data” (iOS) or “SIM Card Manager” (Android).
3. With your phone connected to the internet, tap “Add eSIM/Add Cellular Plan” (iOS) or “Add SIM” (Android), then scan the QR code to install.
4. If scanning is not possible, you can manually enter the “SM-DP+ Address” and “Activation Code” provided in your order.
5. If Steps 3 or 4 fail, your device may be carrier-locked (restricted to a specific network). Please contact your carrier to unlock it before installing the eSIM.
 
[Activate eSIM]
Please complete the following settings after arriving at your destination:
1. Turn off your primary SIM (or disable mobile data on the primary SIM) and enable the eSIM.
2. Activate the eSIM:
iOS: Go to “Cellular/Mobile Data” and select and enable the eSIM.
Android: Go to “SIM Card Manager/SIM Cards”, enable the eSIM, and set it as the mobile data SIM.
3. Turn on “Data Roaming”.
4. If you still cannot access the internet after the above steps, please configure the APN and restart your phone. See details below.
 
[About APN]
1. Path to set APN:
iOS: “Settings” → “Cellular” → “Cellular Data Network”
Android: “Settings” → “Mobile Network/Cellular Network” → “Access Point Names (APN)”
3. Enter APN: cmhk
4. Restart your phone.
 
[Using the Renewal Data Plan]
The renewal plan will be activated automatically once your current plan expires. Please do NOT scan the QR code again.
1. For plans with “high-speed data followed by reduced speed”: reduced-speed data will continue to be used until the original plan expires. Restart your phone to start using the renewal plan. (If you need to end it earlier, please contact customer support.)
2. For plans with “high-speed data only (no data after usage)”: after the high-speed data is used up, restart your phone to start using the renewal plan.
If you want to use the eSIM on another device, please select “Book Again” instead of “Request Renewal”. Renewal plans cannot be transferred to another device.
Change & cancellation policies
If a cancellation request is submitted before 00:00, 1 day(s) prior to the expiration date, no cancellation fee will be charged.
If a cancellation request is submitted after 00:00 1 day(s) before the expiration date, a fee of 100% will be charged.
This product cannot be canceled after activation.
If a discount is applied, the cancellation fee will be calculated based on the original price before the discount and will not exceed the amount paid.
Partial refund is not available.
Important note

[Phone Compatibility] 

1.Your phone supports eSIM function 

Query Method: Dial "*#06#" in the dial interface. If "EID" is displayed, the phone supports eSIM; if not, it does not support eSIM. 


2. The phone is not a network-locked phone 

Query Method: Check with your Telecom Operator to see if your phone is open for all network bands 

* Please check whether you meet the above conditions before purchasing. Only when all conditions are met can you use eSIM normally. 


[Set up eSIM] 

eSIM installation require a stable internet connection. We recommend installing it within 6 hours before departure. Upon arrival at your destination, connect to a stable network before activating your data plan.


[Enable Data Roaming] 

Please make sure that the "Data Roaming" option for the eSIM is enabled.

This may result in internet access failures or slower speeds. To ensure a stable internet connection, please try to avoid prolonged video streaming/downloading, software updates, sharing your internet connection (hotspot), or other high-data-consumption activities.
