The director Mr. Tani opened a school for developing character and personal progression in 2012. He handles the planning and operation of nature experience courses for children. Currently, Nekko Juku‘s activities center around providing a place to have experiences, while teaching the positive aspects of sustainable living and knowledge of how to use natural resources. This program, you can experience a traditional by wood-chopping, campfire-building, cooking rice in a clay pot, making Japanese dishes and miso soup for your lunch. This program provides a lively experience where you can feel a part of it. 13:00~14:30 Free time (art tour etc.) If you wish, we can also guide you to Sakushima Art's masterpiece "Ohirune House" and more.
