One of the recommended places I've visited in Singapore with my family last year was Chinatown. We spent most of our time shopping for affordable souvenirs and trying out delicious food as there are so many shops to choose from. One of the restaurants we went to has colourful hanging decorations. It was amazing to look at! While strolling in the streets of Chinatown, we stumble into a beautiful infrastructure with exceptional exterior design. It was massive! It is called the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum, enriched with Buddhist art and history. It takes less than 10 minutes walk from the Chinatown MRT station. Entry in the temple grounds is free, but ensure that you wear appropriate clothing. There is lunch set promotion as well. Teppanyaki and ramen are the popular dishes. The food is tasty and the price is reasonable and affordable. #citywalk Address - 133 New Bridge Rd, Singapore 059413 Highlights - Chinatown point located at Chinatown area After taking a walk at the Chinatown street, we went to the Chinatown point to take a walk. You can take a train and alight at the Chinatown station. The mall is crowded as always. There is a lot of good food here that you should try. We queued up to have the song fa bak ku teh meal. It was one of the best bak ku teh in town. We enjoyed the pepper spicy soup with the tender meat. There is the value dollar shop, and the Daiso two dollar shop which helps us save a lot. There is a supermarket at the basement floor to shop for your household items. We love this mall and we hope to come here more often.

SG weather is too hot for hot pot in the afternoon? Why not trying a cold dessert pot! This dessert place is newly ( fairly new ) opened at Chinatown, just happened to walk pass and decided to give it a try. Well I guess I’ll say it’s a good experience but not sure if I’ll come back again 😅 The design of this place is very nice and cozy, staffs are very friendly as well. But I think the dessert is average, the mango sago is too think, the mango taste is not strong enough and the smoothie is not smooth enough as well. But thankfully it’s still cold enough to beat the heat. The “cold” pot is interesting, it has all the ingredients from the shop, interestingly, they use coconut milk as a base which I’m not too fancy about it. And this dessert is not sweet at all, maybe , for some of you it’s good that’s it’s not sweet, but I think will be nicer if it’s abit sweeter. Overall I think it’s a not too bad experience, but can skip if you’re not too big a fan.

They are freshly made and are customized to the local taste. The 100 meters long stretch of food stalls is definitely the place you must try if you like to eat authentic Chinese food. At the people's park, you can also find many elderly dancing with the music beats. It is a relaxing place for them and a gourmet paradise for others. The location is just outside the Chinatown mrt station.

Perfect for dates as they serve many different types of beverages especially alcholic ones. I ordered mentaiko salmon don and my husband got the gyudon. You can see they serve a side dish that looks like a nugget but taste like soy/potato fried and is actually quite nice! I really like my mentaiko don too. Portion is just nice. Service was good. Staff are very attentive and friendly. They also have al fresco sitting which should be great at night. #musteat #foodie
