After exiting the Botanical Garden's west gate, there's a guardhouse-like structure on your left. Just walk up. I recommend having a clear sign here! The cable car ride was the most relaxing part of my trip to Xiamen. I was lucky enough to be on cable car number 22, a number I really like. The ascent wasn't anything special; there were lush green trees beneath my feet. When I descended from the highest point, I could see houses of all sizes scattered around, and Gulangyu Island. The jungle and the sea were breathtaking. On my way back to the end, I ran into a mother and daughter who had come to the Botanical Garden to take my photos. I quickly snapped a picture of them. This is my favorite photo of the cable car trip.★
