Wooden steps take you down through an open-air courtyard that has a water fountain and a koi pond. Another set of steps lead down to a room full of tables, benches, old traditional Chinese beds that are used as banquettes, and a row of cast iron teapots on top of burning charcoal. This room is where the tea is prepared and served. On a clear summer day, you may want to drink your tea while out on the patio that overlooks the Pacific Ocean. You will be served a standard tea set that includes a pot of LiShan oolong tea plus yummy local snacks like handmade oolong biscuit, tea plum, and dried fruit.
