Top Experiences & Travel Essentials in Bali

Bali is Indonesia’s island of dreams, where jungle meets ocean and culture blends with adventure. From the tranquil temples of Ubud Bali to the coastline of Seminyak, Bali is a place where every corner has its own charm. Bali weather stays warm year-round, but the best time to visit Bali is during the dry season, from May to September. Swing high above rice terraces on a Bali Swing, cool off at Waterbom Bali, or explore the island’s fiery side with a sunrise trek up a Bali volcano. Families love Bali Zoo, while beach lovers and yogis find their peace across the island. With so many things to do in Bali, every day feels like a new adventure.

Reviews: Mount Batur Sunrise Experience 4WD Jeep & Free Breakfast on Top One - Day Tour With Guide
Guest User2025-12-10
This is the first time I've written a serious review on Ctrip, something I almost never do. I was initially worried about the price, but aside from a slight delay of over 20 minutes at the hotel because we hadn't coordinated pick-up time via WeChat, everything else was fantastic. The hotel provided hot coffee at the transfer station before the jeep ride up the mountain. Special praise to Nyoman and his granddaughter! Our group of six traveled in two cars, and despite the heavy rain the night before, Nyoman drove very steadily. Upon arrival, he meticulously took many beautiful photos of us, checking each one carefully to ensure it looked good. We also witnessed breathtaking volcanic rock formations, marveling at the wonders of nature. A truly satisfying trip! We were so happy! Everyone tipped us at the end. ^_^
Reviews: Bali Ubud Kuber ATV Experience
Guest User2025-10-26
"Bali's Hidden Thrill Experience | Kuber ATV! Unlock the Rainforest, Mud, and Waterfalls All in One ⚡️" ⸻ 🏍️ Main Article👇 If you only plan to do one truly thrilling activity in Bali, it must be the Kuber ATV four-wheel off-road vehicle. 🌿 This activity is hidden in the mountains near Ubud. It passes through jungle, rice paddies, muddy fields, and even a mysterious tunnel with a waterfall. The entire ride takes about 1.5 hours, and it's even more relaxing than a movie! ⸻ 💦 My three favorite features: 1️⃣ The course is incredibly layered. It's not just a monotonous loop, but with real uphills, downhills, caves, and streams. In some sections, the water is ankle-deep, and the mud is incredibly exciting. 2️⃣ The waterfall tunnel is absolutely stunning. The Kuber ATV's built-in "Cave Waterfall" is arguably Bali's most iconic off-road route. On one side, there's a dark rock wall, and on the other, there's a cascading stream. The moment you emerge from the tunnel, you feel like a movie star. 3️⃣ A sense of safety is guaranteed. Each group is led by an instructor, and they'll do practice laps first. Women can handle this perfectly (I had no trouble driving solo!). For a more relaxed ride, you can ride with a tandem; taking photos from the back seat provides more stability! 📸 ⸻ 🧭 Tips: 📍Location: Ubud area (approximately 40 minutes by taxi from the city center) ⏰ Time: Recommended to go in the morning or before 4:00 PM 💰 Price: ATV ride costs approximately 200-300 RMB per person 👕 Dark clothing and sandals or flip-flops are recommended. 🎒 Bring a waterproof bag and a change of clothes (there's a shower area at the end). Also, be sure to bring a few disposable shower caps. Shared helmets and boots get dirty, so put the caps on your head and feet before putting them on. ⸻ 🌈 In summary: Kuber ATV = adventure + mud + waterfalls + photogenic moments. It's the kind of activity you'll enjoy all year long! Highly recommended for couples and groups of friends.
Reviews: Discover Ubud: All-Inclusive Monkey Forest, Rice Terrace, Waterfall & More

A one-day tour with Mr. Zheng He, who drives for us, is better than a year of independent travel. Our itinerary in Ubud was arranged and led by Mr. Wayan Zheng He. He was very talkative, sharing a lot about local Balinese culture and recommending many restaurants. Also, when we were caught in a sudden downpour at the Tegallalang Rice Terraces and Tirta Empul Temple, Mr. Zheng He personally brought us umbrellas. This trip was perfect, and we are very grateful to Mr. Zheng He for his company for the entire day!
Reviews: Ferry Tickets Sanur to Nusa Lembongan (one-way/Round-trip)- [Optional Bali Hotel pickup/Dropoff]
Guest User2025-11-06
The speedboat trip from Bali to Lembongan Island took about 40 minutes and departed quite punctually. The ride wasn't too bumpy. However, upon arriving at the South Island pier, you need to wade across the water. Since we had children with us, the boat staff kindly helped carry them to the beach; the service was quite good.

I really enjoyed the trip. We covered the most beautiful and atmospheric places. The guide was very attentive, and the car was new. We especially liked that we weren't tied to a group and could spend our own time at the locations. I went with friends and we absolutely loved it. We highly recommend it!
