We departed promptly at 6:05 AM and first took a boat trip to Leshan to see the majestic Leshan Giant Buddha. In the afternoon, we admired the sea of clouds from the Golden Summit, where the golden light of the Ten Directions Samantabhadra was dazzling. On the way down, we were greeted by the playful monkeys. Thanks to our guide, Yuan, for his professional and compact itinerary. It was a pure play experience, and we returned to Chengdu at 9:20 PM. This day trip to Leshan and Mount Emei is highly recommended!

I recently joined a one-day tour of Mount Emei and the Leshan Giant Buddha through Ctrip organized by Chengdu Optimistic World Travel Agency. The weather was gloomy and rainy when we set off this morning, so I approached the trip with a "what will be, will be" attitude, without high expectations. However, the experience after the tour is completely different from my initial feelings. Today's trip was unforgettable. The main reason is that I was fortunate enough to meet our excellent tour guide, Mr. Yang. Mr. Yang is very knowledgeable and his explanations are lively and interesting. He explained the stories, cultural history, and other aspects of the attractions in detail and vividly, allowing us to better understand the cultural and historical significance of the Leshan Giant Buddha and Mount Emei. In addition, Mr. Yang was very attentive and considerate, informing tourists of various precautions in advance, such as weather changes, walking safety, and being wary of monkeys. He also patiently helped tourists take photos. What was particularly touching was that towards the end of the tour, he thoughtfully served each of us a bowl of hot tofu pudding, a delicious and warming treat – so heartwarming! Finally, let me talk about the itinerary. Our guide, Mr. Yang, was able to arrange the trip reasonably according to the actual situation, allowing us to fully explore major attractions such as the Leshan Giant Buddha and Mount Emei within the limited time. It didn't feel rushed at all, and we didn't encounter long queues at any of the attractions. The travel experience was fantastic. Parting is always difficult, and all gatherings must end, but I'm truly grateful to have had such a wonderful guide as Mr. Yang today. Thumbs up to Mr. Yang!

It was the first time for me to take my sisters to Emei and Leshan. I chose this optimistic tour group after half a day. I met a very professional and responsible guide, Yuan. Although the feeling of the day was very tight, it was all focused on sightseeing. Except for the time spent queuing, the rest was still very good. I didn't miss a minute to play. It was indeed a pure play group. There was no shopping throughout the whole trip. They didn't take us to any stores, and there were no other advertising consumption on the bus. It was better. Overall, the experience was 95 points. The other 5 points were mainly because there were a lot of people during the National Day.

Today's visit to the Leshan Giant Buddha and Mount Emei with our guide, Zhou, was a truly wonderful experience! His explanations were incredibly detailed, covering everything from the Buddha's millennia-long history of protecting the Three Rivers to the cultural heritage of Mount Emei. He meticulously covered even the most easily overlooked details. The service was also exceptionally thoughtful, from route planning to reminders along the way. We didn't have to worry at all. Furthermore, Zhou was incredibly kind and patient. No matter how many questions we asked, even the repetitive ones, he answered them with a smile and a thorough understanding, making the entire trip both fulfilling and relaxing. Highly recommended!

Thank you, Miss Li. Our tour guide, Xiao Li, was very thorough and attentive to every guest. I'll definitely call her next time. The Leshan Giant Buddha was carved in 713, the first year of the Kaiyuan reign of the Tang Dynasty. Construction took 90 years, and was completed in 803, the 19th year of the Zhenyuan reign. Standing 71 meters tall, it is the tallest stone seated Buddha in the world. Constructed on the cliffs of Lingyun Mountain overlooking the river, the Buddha's ingenious design features hidden drainage systems in the hair bun and collar, effectively mitigating wind and rain erosion. Its construction was originally intended to mitigate flooding. It was initiated by Master Hai Tong and later completed by Zhangchou Jianqiong and Wei Gao. Jinding Huazang Temple was first built in the Tang Dynasty. The existing Golden Hall and Bronze Hall are modern reconstructions. The 48-meter-tall golden statue of Samantabhadra symbolizes the Buddhist ideal of universal salvation. Sheshen Cliff, named after the legend of "jumping off the cliff to become an immortal," is now a prime spot for viewing the sea of clouds and the Buddha's halo.
