Reference Itinerary (Self-guided tour within the scenic area. Please refer to the actual arrangements!):
- The driver will provide morning pick-up service at your accommodation in Yining city area. As group tour participants stay at different locations and morning rush hour traffic conditions vary, the pick-up sequence will be determined based on the actual situation on the day.
- After leaving the city, take the Yidun Expressway and switch to Provincial Highway S315. Pass through the transition zone between the Qapqal Plain and the mountains, arriving at Ku'erdening Town after approximately 2.5 hours of driving. Here, you can arrange your own lunch or stock up on snacks. Entering Zhonggou, you'll traverse the Ten-Mile Gallery, where the road winds along a stream valley flanked by lush snow-capped ridges and spruce forests, with sunlight filtering through the trees as the terrain changes. Passing by the Fengxiang Post Station, the S-shaped road faces the snow-capped mountains, making it an ideal spot for capturing photos of the road and snowy peaks.
- Continue onward to the Kafeng Base Camp, where the open terrain offers distant views of Mount Kabambayi, standing at 4,257 meters with its snow-capped peak year-round. Next, head to the Qimengde Viewing Platform. Follow the wooden boardwalk for approximately 2 kilometers to reach the summit, where you can enjoy a multi-layered panorama of spruce forests, meadows, and snow-capped mountains. After descending, pass by the Ayousai Viewing Platform, a high-altitude vantage point that provides a sweeping look back at the winding mountain road through the valley.
- Finally arriving at the Cloud Meadow, this alpine grassland at 2,800 meters above sea level is covered with wildflowers in summer. After descending along the wooden boardwalk, exit the scenic area via East Gully.
- Return trip includes drop-off service to various accommodations along the original route within Yining city area.
- The entire tour takes approximately 5 hours. Due to significant elevation changes and noticeable temperature variations within the scenic area, it is recommended to bring warm clothing and sun protection gear.
