[Itinerary]

07.00 Pick up from your hotel. Visit Chiang Mai fresh market where you can find favorite typical local food of northern Thailand such as grilled pork, deep fried chicken, steamed sticky rice, crispy pork skin with various dipping. Enjoy tasting local breakfast and observe

people way of life. Then proceed to Chiang Mai City Arts and Cultural Center which stands on the location of the former royal hall. Built in 1924 the  center is created to promote the understanding of Chiang Mai's roots, a sense of pride in local identity, and to preserve the beauty of local culture. Learn about the development of the region from the pre-history to its rise and decline as an independent capital until the present as we as cultural heritages of the Lanna Kingdom.

Then proceed to Wat Phrasing, built in 1345, the Temple houses the North s most revered Buddha statue, Phra Phuttha Sihing which is enshrined in Vihan Lai Kham, a Chapel that features exquisite woodcarvings and northern style murals.

Afternoon drive uphill to Doi Suthep. Ride a local pickup up the mountain's winding scenic path to the White Hmong's remote settlement. They are Chinese emigrants who have chosen to maintain their traditional way of life by moving to remote locations where they can practice

their old rituals and dress in stunningly beautiful, embroidered garments.

Continue with the local pickup to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, an absolute must-see on any traveler's itinerary. Afterwards, you'll get your blood pumping by climbing the 306 steps to the temple, which was built in 1383 and is guarded by two majestic Nagas (serpents). This landmark of Chiang Mai is home to a sacred relic of the Lord Buddha and is a beacon for visitors from all over the world. The temple grounds provide a breathtaking panorama of the city and its environs.
