In the heart of the Thingvellir National Park awaits a spectacular sub-aquatic world with water so clear it feels like you are floating in the air above the submerged canyon. The source of the water flows from Langjökull Glacier located 50 kilometres away, purified and filtered on its journey into the fissure giving amazing clarity extending up to 150 metres!
Before you start, you will be provided with all the necessary snorkeling gear and information from our experienced and well-qualified diving specialists. The temperature ranges from 2-4C but the dry suit provides nice insulation. Gliding through the fissure will reveal many mesmerizing rock formations that are visible from the most incredible distance. After your incredible journey through the Silfra fissure, you can warm up with a nice cup of hot cocoa before the tour comes to an end.
