Reviews: 2-Hour Milford Sound Scenic Cruise

We absolutely loved our cruise with Mitre Peak! The boat was clean and we were very pleased when we got on board and saw how well maintained the chairs and tables were. Who needs a lunch buffet when all you really want to do is look at the beautiful views outside. We were so lucky to have had a partially sunny day, the falls were still flowing and we sa bottle nose dolphins, 1 cute as penguin and 3 fur seals. The commentary from the captain was great and informative. Top tip take something to eat as there is no food for sale but there is free coffee, tea and hot chocolate. We took instant cup noodles and used the hot water that was available.
Reviews: Wellington's Original LOTR Experience - includes Weta and Lunch

Marc was the most amazing host. He was an extra on LOTR and has many interesting stories to tell as well as a behind-the-scenes knowledge of the filming locations. Every location was stunningly beautiful and I had a blast. Highly recommend Marc and this tour.

We’d love the fact that it was a small boat and the narrative was fantastic! It’s almost impossible to describe what we saw and what we experienced on a rainy day, perfect with hundreds of waterfalls highly recommend this company💕💕
Reviews: Spectacular Wellington: Half Day Private Sightseeing Tour
Guest User2026-01-25
Suzee planned the perfect half day+ tour of Wellington. She made excellent choices for our short stay and her narration of the city spot on. After the tour, our group of 4 friends was planning to dine at Shed 5 and Suzee convinced us to have a casual lunch with her of meat pies and cheese scones. Both Wellington staples. WOW! Yummy and her café choice along the beach front was perfect. Suzee is an excellent guide and representative of Wellington. We so enjoyed our time with. Whether staying in Wellington or just have a short cruise stop, I highly recommend this tour.
Reviews: Wellington: Guided Sightseeing Tour by Electric Bike

Our guide Patrick was very friendly and informative. The tour was mostly in the harbor area and on the Miramar peninsula. The route of just over 20 km is easily manageable with an e-bike.
Reviews: From Wellington: Martinborough Winery Tour

We 3 ladies had a spare day in Wellington so we booked this tour to the wineries. Michael our driver and guide for the day was wonderful. He took the time to explain sites on the hour drive out. Michael took us to 3 wineries and sampled 5 wines at each. We had lunch of waygu beef carpaccio and a bottle of wine at Palliser, which was a gorgeous spot. Lunch was beautiful. We covered our own lunch bill. Michael was also very accommodating when one of the ladies needed to buy a vape in town. Lastly, we had a quick stop at a cheese shop where we made a few hot sauce, cheese and jam purchases. We thought 5:5 hours was just the perfect amount of time for this day out, I did look at other winery options that was over a longer time of the day but a lot more expensive, and I highly recommend to do this one and purchase your own lunch and enjoy a bottle of wine, such a wonderful way to enjoy your holiday.
