Zhijindong Cave
It is a national 5A-level tourist attraction and a UNESCO Global Geopark. The scenic area features karst landforms with three levels—upper, middle, and lower—spanning 6.6 kilometers in length and covering over 700,000 square meters. Divided into 12 grand halls and 47 smaller chambers, it boasts more than 150 scenic spots. The cave houses over 40 types of karst formations, including stalagmites, stone pillars, and stone sprouts, with rare sights like the "Silver Rain Tree" and "Overlord's Helmet." Renowned for its grand scale, unique landscapes, and diverse formations, it is hailed as the "King of Karst Caves."
Zhijin Grand Canyon
Located in Zhijin County, Bijie City, Guizhou Province, this national 4A-level tourist attraction spans 3 kilometers and is also known as the "One Line Three Grooves" scenic area, situated just 2 kilometers from Zhijindong Cave. The site features well-preserved geological formations including canyons, skylights, sinkholes, and natural bridges. Its unique landscapes of "water above water, caves above caves, bridges above bridges, and sky beyond sky" are acclaimed as "world-class karst scenery." Visitors can explore by boat or via cliffside walkways. Additionally, the area boasts cultural attractions like the Jingu Temple and waterfall scenery, while the spectacular "Swallows Returning to Nest" phenomenon at dusk is a breathtaking sight.
