In the morning, we gather at the meeting point to kick off our day's journey, heading first to Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park. Ascend by cable car, taking in the picturesque scenery—rolling mountains and lush forests unfolding beneath like a scroll. Walking in the park, deep canyons and swirling mists create an exhilarating thrill. Next, visit Tianmen Cave, a colossal natural through-hole, a masterpiece of nature's craftsmanship. For easier access, you can choose to take the escalator (self-paid, CNY32 per person) and cross the glass walkway in shoe covers (self-paid, CNY5 per person), experiencing the thrill of transparency beneath your feet. Standing before the cave, feeling the mountain breeze and hearing nature's whispers, one can't help but marvel at its wonder.
Then, proceed to the 72 Qilou Cultural Tourism Town. Note: The guide will not accompany you here; we'll disband here, concluding our delightful trip. Explore this charming tower at your leisure. This unique building blends Tujia traditional culture with modern architecture, featuring an odd yet captivating appearance. It offers a variety of local snacks, handicraft shops, and folk performances. Savor authentic Zhangjiajie cuisine (self-paid), pick unique souvenirs, and enjoy vibrant folk shows, immersing in Tujia's distinct charm.
