▲ Zhengguosi, also known as Foye Temple, is a sacred site of the incorruptible Buddhist monks in Lingnan. Established during the Southern Song Dynasty (1197 AD), this 800-year-old ancient temple was granted an imperial plaque by a Guangdong emperor. It showcases the Lingnan architectural art of "Three Carvings and Three Supports." The legend of Binggong Buddha (Cowboy Buddha) has been listed as a municipal intangible cultural heritage.
