Attraction Introduction
Laojun Mountain is located in the south of Luanchuan County, Luoyang. It was anciently known as Jingshi Mountain and was renamed after Laozi, the founder of Taoism, who retreated here for seclusion and cultivation. As the main peak of the 800-li Funiu Mountain range, Laojun Mountain stands at an elevation of 2,200 meters and is a national nature reserve, featuring 72 scenic spots of mountains and waters. Its spectacular stone forest landscape was praised by Mr. Zhao Xun, a world geological park evaluation expert, as "the largest granite peak forest wonder ever discovered worldwide."

Itinerary
※ Gather at the designated location in the morning and take a bus to Laojun Mountain (approximately 4 hours' drive).
※ Upon arrival, you need to take the first section of the cableway to reach Zhongtian Gate. From there, you can either hike (one-way hike takes about 1 hour) or opt to take the paid 2nd section Forest Peak Cableway (optional) to go up the mountain.
※ Explore [Laojun Mountain] (approximately 4 hours of travel time)
You can visit the core scenic areas: Fairyland of Peak Forest, Ten-Mile Picture Gallery, and Golden Summit Taoist Temple Complex.
※ Morning shift at 16:10; return around 19:30 for the evening shift, concluding the pleasant trip
