Explore one of the new 7 wonders of nature, Table Mountain as an option (pay your own entrance fees with fast trackas as a possibility in case the queue is too long) before embarking to other Cape Town top site attractions such as:
1) The Bo-Kaap: A very colorful area of Cape Town formerly known as the Malay Quarter. It is a former racially segregated area, situated on the slopes of Signal Hill above the city centre and is a historical centre of Cape Malay culture in Cape Town. The Nurul Islam Mosque, the first ever Mosque established in 1844, is located in the area.
2) Camps Bay: An affluent suburb of Cape Town. It is one of 10 suburbs that form the city's Atlantic Seaboard, which is known to be the mostrichest part of SouthAfrica. In summer, Camps Bay attracts many locals, and foreign visitors due to its popular restaurants situated right in front of its white sandy beaches.
3) Hout Bay: A historic and still-working fishing village, Hout Bay's local colour and scenery make it a tourist attraction among both local and international visitors. The harbour has restaurants, fresh fish outlets and craft stores, with views of the bay and boat rides to Duiker seals Island and around
4) Chapman's Peak drive: is affectionately known as “Chappies” and is a must for anyone who is passionate about the majestic Cape Town scenery, with sheer drops to the sea below and towering mountains rising above you. The twists and curves in the road seem endless and it is a photographers dream. It is a paradise for motorists, sightseers, picnickers, runners, hikers and bikers
5) Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point:
The Cape of Good Hope is a rocky headland on the Atlantic coast of the Cape Peninsula in South Africa.
Inside the nature reserve we will visit two landmarks namely the Cape of Good Hope which is the most South western coner of the African continent, then proceed to the lighthouse at Cape Point for the view of the whole area.
As we continue discovering Cape Town like locals. calling shots with a flexible itinerary while stopping as many times as we want to different attractions. One stop along the way will be reserved for lunch at one of the fine dining restaurants like the two oceans restaurant, or proceed to Simon's Town where more restaurants are found.
6) Simon's Town:
Named after Mr Simon's Van Destel, the 10th commander and second governor of the Cape colony in sixteen hundreds. Simon's Town is first of all the navy base of the South African army. It has been the base for the British royal navy under British rule, then continued to host the South African nave after that. Simon's Town is also famous for penguins, the famous Jackas African penguins. We will also have a moment to visit them at the Boulders beach before proceeding to Muizenberg on our way back to the Hotel.
