Travel tips:

1. Hot food is not allowed on buses.

2: The trip lasts approximately 12.5 hours (8:00 to 20:30), allowing you to visit as many of the highlights as possible. Although you will spend most of your time enjoying the scenery from the comfort of a bus, you will still be able to take in spectacular views.

3. The local driver/guide is warm, considerate, well-organized, and has excellent driving skills.

4: The highlights of the itinerary include an additional tour of Urquhart Castle and a Loch Ness cruise.

5. Boat tour price: Adults £21, children £17. Castle and boat tour combo price: Adults £33, children £21.

6. The Scotland Historic Sites Pass is not valid for the sites visited during this trip.

7. Age requirement for group tour: 4 years and above for large groups, 5 years and above for small groups. Children aged 4 to 16 are charged the child price.

Group tour itinerary:

Enjoy a day trip to experience the magnificent scenery of Scotland. Visit the beautiful and mysterious Loch Ness and Glencoe. An optional Loch Ness boat trip is available. Depart from the meeting point in Edinburgh city center in the morning, heading northwest, passing Stirling Castle. A short stop in the Calland area is recommended. Depending on the season, you may even see Highland cattle. Continue onward, passing through Rob Roy's hometown, crossing the Lennoch Moor and the Black Hills, arriving at the famous Glencoe. Stop here for photos and to soak up the atmosphere of the valley. Continue past Loch Linney, with lunch in the Fort William area. Afterward, head to the Glencoe, passing Ben Nevis. Pass through the beautiful Augustus Castle, arriving at Urquhart Castle. Here, you can choose to take a 1-hour Loch Ness boat trip (optional) and visit Urquhart Castle (optional). If the itinerary permits, we will travel to Claysman, with 1 hour of free time. Alternatively, you can choose to participate in the "Donald Fraser Whisky Experience," a 20-30 minute experience. Guests can watch a film about the history of whisky making and enjoy a glass of Donald Fraser blended whisky (optional, an additional £12 per person). Afterwards, begin the return journey to Edinburgh, passing through Cairngorms National Park and the woodlands of Perthshire, including Athor Forest. Stop for dinner in the town of Pitlochry. Return to Edinburgh city center, concluding a pleasant day trip.

Small group tours:

The day trip begins with a visit to Stirling Castle (exterior only), the former residence of Mary, Queen of Scots. Afterwards, proceed to Loch Lomond and Trossacks National Park, with a short break in the town of Calland. The guide will share local folklore. Traverse the desolate yet magnificent Lennoch moorland to Glencoe Gorge, surrounded by towering peaks and waterfalls, offering cinematic scenery. Time will be available for exploration, photography, and listening to the gorge's history. Continue north to Fort William, nestled at the foot of Ben Nevis. Weather permitting, you may witness views from the summit. From here, continue along the Grand Canyon and the Caledonian Canal. At the southern end of Lake Ness lies Fort Augustus, a stop for lunch and free exploration. Lunch at Fort Augustus features cafes, bars, and takeaway options. Enjoy a stroll along the Caledonian Canal and soak in the charming village atmosphere. Alternatively, choose to take a Loch Ness cruise (optional). On the return journey south, we'll traverse Cairngorms National Park, enjoying the lush forests, winding rivers, and majestic mountains. Continuing through the valley region, we'll arrive in Perthshire, known as the "Land of the Big Trees," along the shores of Lake Lagan. We'll stop here for a rest. As we approach Edinburgh, we'll have the opportunity to see the Forth Railway Bridge, a marvel of Victorian engineering. We'll then return to Edinburgh city center, concluding our enjoyable day trip.
