Overall, well planned and good experience. Tour guide was very helpful and informative. Van was new, large, and clean. We did a private tour and communication was good via WeChat. We were picked up at 8:30am and returned back to the hotel at 7:45pm. It was a long day visiting both Suzhou and Zhouzhuang, but I don’t think it would be worth visiting on two separate days. The reason for only 4 stars was that we were charged an additional 3 hours at 150 RMB/hr. After the booking was confirmed, the tour operator said the tour is only for 8 hours of time even though the description on Trip.com said the tour would be 9am-8pm. Seemed like a bit of a bait and switch. They should just put that on the description if there are additional hourly charges.★

The itinerary was fantastic. The upgraded luxury bus was very comfortable. There were only three of us in the group, so we enjoyed VIP-level service at a large group price – a great deal! Our guide, Meng, explained the history and business model of Nanxun Ancient Town and Wuzhen, things that are difficult to learn on a self-guided tour. Nanxun Ancient Town is beautiful, especially the area with its hundred residential buildings – it's very cozy. There are many guesthouses along the riverbanks; I'd love to stay there next time. There's a field of rapeseed flowers near the pagoda at the far end of Wuzhen, but you have to look carefully to find it. Unfortunately, I only discovered it on the way back on the cruise ship, so I missed it – a bit of a regret.★

Excellent! This is a very worthwhile trip to Wuzhen and Nan Xun Ancient Towns. Despite the rain for whole day, the tour guide did their best to guide us to visit the tourist spots. Dear tour guides, you did a great job! Very informative tour guides and great service from them. Note that it is a tour conducted in Chinese language, mainly to cater for Chinese tourists. So, do not expect translation. You can download transcriber apps to help. Note also the itinerary, lunch and audio set rental is not included in the trip. However, the extra expenses is very reasonable. Also, the cruise trip activity mentioned in the itinerary is actually a suggestion, it is not included in the trip. So you have to pay on your own for the boat cruise at Nan Xun. In overall, this is a perfect day tour I would suggest!★
