The Moon Well is the largest stepped well in India. The well was built in the 9th century AD, with a depth of 30 meters. There are 13 layers of stairs next to it, with a total of 3,500 steps. Looking at the exquisite carvings of the arched cloister, it looks like an ancient underground palace, but it is actually a thousand-year-old water well. , which tourists call the "upside-down pyramid". The purpose of the stepped well is to store water, and at the same time, it can allow people to easily access the water source. Usually, there will be a gate at the bottom of the stepped well to raise the water level, and the water level will be raised to the 3rd-4th floor in the season when water is needed. The incredible thing is that the well was built around 800 AD, and the function of the well is still perfect to this day. It is said that because the area is an arid area, the king at that time ordered a deep well to be built to store enough water, and also to allow the villagers to escape the heat in the hot summer. It is said that the bottom of the well can be 5 degrees Celsius cooler than the outside. -6 degrees. There are iron railings around the 7-story stairs below. It is said that because the local people regard well water as holy water, ordinary people cannot approach it casually. However, there is also a local legend that this well was actually dug by demons, and the reason why so many steps were built. , so that if someone accidentally drops the coin, because there are too many steps, it is too late to pick it up, and it will definitely fall into the well.Dausa · 29.5km from downtown

The Taj Mahal is a must-see attraction in India, praised by the poet Tagore as "an eternal teardrop". Completed in 1654, the Taj Mahal was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for Queen Ajman Banu at a huge cost. This palatial mausoleum is mainly constructed of pure white marble, inlaid with precious stones from all over the world. The Taj Mahal also has a completely symmetrical architectural aesthetic, combining Indian and Persian architectural art. The entire building complex includes the vestibule, the main entrance, the main body of the mausoleum and other attractions. You can enter the vestibule from the west, east and south entrances, and then enter from the main entrance. There is a marble pool in the middle called Hawdal-Kawthar (meaning "Pool of Abundance"), and the reflection of the Taj Mahal in the water is clearly visible. There is a bench next to the pool that attracts many tourists to sit and take pictures. This is where Princess Diana took pictures when she visited the Taj Mahal. At the end of the pool, on the raised marble platform is the Taj Mahal. There is a tower at each corner of the mausoleum. The main body of the mausoleum is octagonal, with a large hemispherical dome in the middle, decorated with lotus flowers, and four small circles around it. top. The walls on both sides of the entrance to the main tomb are engraved with the Book of Songs, and when you enter the interior, you can see two sarcophagi, one large and one small, but Shah Jahan and the queen are buried in another underground crypt. The interior of the mausoleum is illuminated only by the sunlight that penetrates from the outside, and photography is not allowed here. There is a monastery on the east and west sides of the main mausoleum, the west one is used for praying and kneeling, and the east one is mainly for maintaining symmetry. In different time and light, the Taj Mahal has different appearances. It is warm golden-orange in the early morning, white in the sun, and gradually turns from gold to pink and dark red at dusk, and turns silvery white again at the beginning of the moon. In the corner of the temples on both sides, you can take pictures of the Taj Mahal seen through the arcade, which is also interesting.India · Agra

Hawa Mahal was commissioned by the Maharaja of Jaipur and is part of the City Palace complex, extending into the royal women's quarters. It stands along the main road of the old city's commercial district, with a five-story pink sandstone facade that resembles a massive wall, densely packed with 953 honeycomb-shaped latticed windows. These windows served more than just an aesthetic purpose. In the past, royal women were not permitted to appear in public according to custom, so the designer used dense latticework to allow them to overlook the festivals and daily life on the streets without being seen by those outside. The latticework also created a cross-breeze. During the hot season, wind flowed through the front and back windows, cooling the interior, which is how the name Hawa Mahal came to be. The window wall is the back of the palace. The entrance is around the back, through the gate leading to the City Palace side. Upon entering, you first find an inner courtyard, which houses a small archaeological museum. The floors are connected by ramps, and several rooms with stained glass are filled with color when sunlight streams in. Climbing to the top floor and looking out from the small windows, you can take in the old city streets and the nearby City Palace andJantar Mantar in one view.Jaipur · 50.8km from Dausa

The Moon Well is also a very distinctive internet celebrity attraction in India. The well is a very deep structure and requires a lot of manpower to operate. The well is still a place that can be used today. You can experience the life of ordinary people in India.

Visited this place as there are a lot of haunted stories associated with this fort. You have to walk quite a bit from the car parking to reach the actual fort. On the way, you will see what was a market area during those times which is now completely in shatters. Several parts of the fort are in ruins and there is nothing much to see inside. There are hills on three sides and you can have a beautiful view from the top. Don't miss the temples in front of the fort. There is nothing spooky or haunted here and you can easily spend a couple of hours. Visit this place at least once and don't believe those ghost stories.

An incredible experience to see such a magical wonder of architectural design. The colours, the shapes of the windows, it was so stunning! I had never seen anything of such beauty before.
