Hongshan Park
Hongshan Park is located in the northeast of Chifeng's urban area and was built along the ochre-red Hongshan mountain. It is one of the larger comprehensive parks in the city. In Mongolian, this mountain is called "Ulan Hada," meaning "red peak," which is the origin of Chifeng's city name. The Hongshan Culture is also named after it. A stroll through the park offers a glimpse into the history of this city. The park is known for its water scenery. Crescent Lake, at the foot of Hongshan in the northeast, is named for its crescent shape. Moon-Viewing Bridge and Sister Bridge are built on the east and west sides of the lake, respectively. Between the two bridges, there are garden huts and the Lotus Viewing Bridge. In midsummer, the lotus pond is in full bloom. In the east, Wupan Lake is lined with weeping willows. The island in the center of the lake is connected to the shore by a Nine-Turn Bridge and an arched bridge. The lake is equipped with water recreation facilities such as pleasure boats, making it perfect for boating and sightseeing. On the east bank of Wupan Lake, the Chile Garden is shaded by greenery and dotted with yurts, offering a distinct Mongolian grassland vibe. Dada Line
Dada Line is a scenic grassland highway located in Hexigten Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia. It spans approx. 135 km, starting at Dali Lake (which means "lake like the sea" in Mongolian) and ending at the Arshihaty Stone Forest at the southern end of the Greater Khingan Mountains, connecting lake scenery at one end and the stone forest at the other. The route encapsulates typical elements of Inner Mongolia's scenery: when crossing the Gongger Prairie, herds of cattle, sheep, and horses are scattered across the grassland, winding rivers reflect the blue sky and white clouds, and the road seems to stretch endlessly toward the horizon; passing through the Baiyin Aobao Scenic Area, the roadside changes to vast stretches of primitive sandy spruce forests. Rehuitang Town
Rehuitang Town is located in the northeastern part of Hexigten Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, approx. 30 km from Jingpeng Town, the seat of the banner government. It is a small town beyond the Great Wall that flourished due to its hot springs. The hot springs in the town have been developed and used for over 400 years. The spring water gushes from deep underground rock minerals, with temperatures consistently between 48°C–83°C. It is rich in various minerals and trace elements such as lithium and strontium. This area is also the Hot Spring Park of the Hexigten Global Geopark. The fame of the hot springs dates back a long time. According to records, Emperor Taizu and Emperor Taizong of the Liao Dynasty both made special trips here to bathe. Legend has it that after the Battle of Ulan Butong during the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, Kangxi also bathed here, and the "Kangxi Bathing Well" site remains in the town to this day. Later, when the 9th Panchen Lama visited Jingpeng, he also left behind the "Panchen Bathing Well" here. Today, most hotels in the town are connected to the hot spring pipelines, allowing guests to soak in the springs at any time. To the north of the town lies Huanggangliang National Forest Park. The "Re-A Line," a self-drive prairie route, starts here, passing through forest areas and pastures before reaching the Arshihaty Stone Forest. Huanggangliang National Forest Park
Huanggangliang National Forest Park is the remnant of the Greater Khingan Mountains and consists of 27 peaks, of which Huanggang Peak is the highest peak of the Greater Khingan Mountains, with an altitude of 2029 meters. On both sides of Huanggang Peak, there are ice buckets, glaciers, U-shaped valleys, moraine peaks, boulders, streaks, and mesolithic bodies formed by Quaternary glaciers. Meilin Valley is located in the southwest of Meilin Town, Haraqin Banner, Chifeng. The scenic area has a cool climate, abundant rainfall, abundant water and grass, and pleasant scenery. Hongshan Museum and Hongshan Park are adjacent to each other, the origin of the city's name Chifeng, and also a landmark scenic spot. It's best to visit in the afternoon, as the setting sun casts a vibrant red glow on the mountains, making for stunning photos.
The museum displays artifacts unearthed from the ancient Hongshan Culture, the most famous being the jade dragon, a symbol of Chifeng. The original is currently housed in the National Museum of China, but here it's shown as a 3D projection.
The park is now a public park for Chifeng residents, where many people spend holidays.

The Dada Highway is a grassland highway in Keshiketeng Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, China. It stretches 135 kilometers from Darinor Lake to the Ashatu Stone Forest. It has been listed by National Geographic China as one of China's most beautiful self-driving routes.
The Dada Highway begins at Darinor Lake (Inner Mongolia's second-largest inland lake, meaning "sea-like lake" in Mongolian), located in western Keshiketeng Banner.
The end point is the Ashatu Stone Forest (a National 5A-level scenic spot), located in the foothills of the Greater Khingan Range and renowned for its granite rock formations.

The wind blows the grass low and the cattle and sheep appear. It's great. Sheep and horses cross the road in groups. The folk customs are simple and honest. As long as you don't step on other people's bottom line, it's still very harmonious.
