Pig Beach

Pig Beach

9.8
3.8/5
35 reviews
Pig Beach is located on an uninhabited island in the Exuma, Bahamas, and is named after the group of pigs that swim in the sea. These pigs are not native to the island, and their origin remains a mystery—some say they were left by sailors who intended to return and eat them but never did, others say they are survivors of a nearby shipwreck who swam ashore, and some believe they were released there by nearby residents years ago. Today, the pigs are fed and cared for by residents of nearby islands and visiting tourists, and they have been thriving on this uninhabited island for many years. When tour boats approach the shore, the pigs jump into the azure water, swim toward the boat to greet visitors, and gather around waiting for food. Visitors can interact with the pigs up close in the shallows and watch them play in the crystal-clear water.Bahamas · Pig Beach

Pink Sands Beach

4.4/5
94 reviews
Pink Sands Beach is located on the east coast of Harbour Island in the Bahamas. It is a stretch ofpale pink sandthat extends for several miles and is one of the few naturalpink sand beachesin the world. The pink color of the beach comes from tiny marine organisms called foraminifera. They grow attached to offshore coral reefs, and after they die, their red shells are crushed by the waves and mixed with white coral sand, creating a unique rose hue. Coral reefs are distributed along the coast, forming a natural barrier that makes the nearshore waters calm and clear, suitable for swimming and snorkeling. The sand is fine and soft, and feels as smooth as powder underfoot. The intensity of the pink color changes with the light: it is particularly vivid under the low-angle sunlight of early morning, while the midday sun makes the pink tend toward a soft, warm white. At sunset, thesand surfacetakes on a faint purple hue, making it a favorite moment for photographers on the island. The main town of Harbour Island, Dunmore Town, is known for its colonial-style colorful cottages and winding narrow alleys, which, together with Pink Sands Beach, create the iconic vacation atmosphere of this small island.Bahamas · Dunmore Town

Harbour Island

Harbour Island

6.5
Harbour Island is famous for the Pink Sands Beach, which stretches for several km along its east coast. The sand is a pale rose pink, with the color coming from the red shell fragments of marine foraminifera, creating a soft pink hue under the sunlight. The nearshore water is shallow and clear, gradually transitioning to deep blue in the distance, creating distinct layers. This Pink Sands Beach is perfect for walking, swimming, and wading, and the wet sand appears more vibrant after the tide recedes. The island's architectural style blends British colonial features, andmany well-preserved historical buildings can be seen along the streets, with many homes and shops featuring colorful exteriors. The surrounding waters boast a rich underwater ecosystem, where visitors can swim, sunbathe, walk, or enjoy water sports such as snorkeling, kayaking, and sailing. 38 reviews
Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas is connected to the city by a bridge. The pink Royal Towers are the landmark of this resort, with the two towers connected by the Bridge Suite in the middle, making them highly visible when viewed across the water from the Nassau coast. The entire resort is themed around the legend of the lost Atlantis, connecting the hotel, beaches, aquarium, lagoons, and water park. It is a sister resort to Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai, sharing the same brand. Families with children can start with the shallow water slides and the aquarium, while thrill-seekers should head straight for the Mayan Temple slides. If you just want to soak up the atmosphere, take a walk along the coastal promenade, where you can also capture photos of the Royal Towers with the Caribbean Sea in the background.Bahamas · Paradise Island

National Art Gallery of The Bahamas is located in downtown Nassau and houses the national art collection of the Bahamas. The building itself is a piece of history: it was renovated from Villa Doyle, built in the 1860s. Once the residence of the Chief Justice of the Bahamas, this old mansion features neoclassical columns paired with Bahamian-style wrap-around verandas and louvered wooden windows. The restoration project took nearly seven years, and it officially opened as an art gallery in 2003. The permanent collection includes paintings, sculptures, photography, and video installations from the 19th century to the present, featuring works by representative Bahamian artists such as Amos Ferguson and Brent Malone. The themes of the works often revolve around island life, ethnic memory, and post-independence identity.Bahamas · Nassau
Aquaventure

Aquaventure

5.4
Aquaventure is a large water park centered on a Mayan temple-style slide tower and a cluster of towering slide towers, with over 20 pools and play areas scattered throughout. The park's activities are generally divided into two categories: one is river rafting, where the rapids river surrounding the slide towers stretches for approx. 1.6 km. You can ride an inner tube along the water, encountering surges, lifts, and drops along the way, as well as a section of white-water rapids, which is much more exciting than the typical lazy river. The other category is water slides, including "The Abyss," which starts with a near-vertical plunge, travels through a pitch-black tube, and goes through an underwater tunnel, as well as multiple tube slides that twist and turn like a water roller coaster. Many slide exits lead directly into the rapids river, allowing you to float back to the tower after sliding and line up for the next round, making for a smooth flow of movement.Bahamas · Paradise Island
Compass Cay

Compass Cay

5.3
Compass Cay is a small island in the Exuma islands of the Bahamas. It is a place ofbeautiful scenery and crystal-clear waters, famous for the nurse sharks that gather year-round near the marina. These nurse sharks have long inhabited the shallow waters near the marina and are accustomed to human presence. They are relatively docile, allowing visitors to swim with them, observe them gliding slowly along the sandy bottom up close, and even have the chance to gently touch their backs. The island is also dotted with several beaches and walking trails that lead to places like the Bat Cave, and you can climb to the high point for a panoramic view of the turquoise shallows.Bahamas
Lighthouse Beach

Lighthouse Beach

5
Located at the southern tip of Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas, Lighthouse Beach is a pink sand beach embraced by limestone headlands, and is considered by many visitors to be one of the most iconic beaches in the Bahamas. The pink color in the sand comes from fragments of foraminifera shells and coral sand, and the hue becomes particularly distinct when the sun shines at an angle in the early morning or evening. The location of this beach is quite unique: on one side is the deep, rough Atlantic Ocean, and on the other is the shallow and calm Exuma Sound, where you can experience two completely different sea colors at the same time. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy a pristine beach and the sound of tranquil waves, this is undoubtedly a great choice.Bahamas

Bahamas Pig Island is a real fairytale secret! Cute little pigs are frolicking freely in the clear water and white sand, playing in the water or lazily basking in the sun. With the blue sea and sky as the backdrop and the soft sandy beach as the blanket, the cute creatures and the beautiful scenery complement each other. Every scene is healing and comfortable. It is a dream paradise away from the hustle and bustle and encountering wonderful things.

The Pink Beach is not only beautiful, but also a great place for snorkeling. Taking photos on the cliffs of the Pink Beach is also more interesting. The Pink Beach on Komodo Island in Indonesia is really pink and there are very few people. When I went there, we were the only ones there. It was like we had it all to ourselves!

It is about 15,000 kilometers away from China, and it is another long-distance flight. It is an island country between the North Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. The beach here is pink. Pirates once abounded here. This was originally a lost world. The animals here have good tempers, whether sharks or lizards...

Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas, is another resort, with palm-beach beaches, high-end hotels, charming streets, fragrant rum, bright colors, and enthusiastic people. The main streets are quite nice, including the government, hospital, school, church, Governor's Palace, museum, and Queen's Steps (a Commonwealth country that was a British colony for a long time). They are clean and bright, with a tropical style, although you can see that ordinary people are not rich on the back. There are still many fun things to do and you can stay and explore them slowly~
