Alice Springs Desert Park

A bit like Noah's Ark, this desert park brings together all the animals of central Australia and puts them in convenient locations for viewing. The park is divided into desert area, sand area and forest area, and you can mingle with this vast desert and more than 120 kinds of animals and more than 350 kinds of plants that live in it by walking. There is a 1.6-kilometer walking trail in the park, which is easy and pleasant to walk. If you are lucky, you can also encounter kangaroos, wild boars and short fat wrens during the visit. The park faithfully reproduces the habitats of the animals, and the park provides helpful signboards that explain the changing seasons and how local indigenous people adapt to their natural environment and use these natural changes to plan their lives. In the nocturnal animal exhibition hall, you can observe the living conditions of nocturnal animals such as owls, bats and rodents in the dark, as well as endangered bandicoots and ghost bats. Standley Chasm

Standley Chasm is located in the Northern Territory of Australia, approx. 50 km from Alice Springs, nestled in the West MacDonnell Ranges. The narrow chasm features towering red rock walls, with particularly vibrant colors when the midday sun shines in. It is an important cultural site for the Arrernte Aboriginal people and is ideal for hiking and photography.

Alice Springs Telegraph Station Historical Reserve

The old telegraph office, 5 kilometers from the city, is where the name of the city of Alice Springs originated, but it is a beautiful misunderstanding. Springs doesn't mean spring, but a waterhole on the Todd River, just behind the old telegraph office. But it has already dried up. The old telegraph office had a large yard, and when you walked in, there was a horse farm, a blacksmith shop, and an old man who was beating a telegraph. ANZAC Hill

Mount Anzac is a well-known symbol of Alice Springs and the location for panoramic views of Alice Springs and Mount Macdonald. The monument on the top of the mountain was unveiled on Anzac Day on April 25, 1934, to commemorate the martyrs who died for Australia in World War I and subsequent wars.

Admission to the Royal Flying Doctors Centre allows for a one-and-a-half-hour tour, including a 10-minute video recording, a visit to the operating control room and a historical display museum with ancient medical instruments. The Royal Flying Doctors Service is a unique organisation in Australia, founded in 1928 by the Reverend John Flynn of the Australian Presbyterian Church. It provides 24/7 emergency medical and healthcare services by air 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It serves people who live, work and travel in remote Australian outbacks. The Flying Doctor Service reaches an average of 183,000 patients a year, of which 17,000 are airlifted to other hospitals for treatment. The service has 17 medical bases and 38 aircraft that fly over the 7.15 million square kilometers of "airspace" under the service's jurisdiction, averaging about 12 million kilometers per year.
