"For the extremely low price we paid to stay there's really nothing to complain about.
So much parking space close to the hotel entrance so easy to get luggage in etc. Easy check in.
Big room. Beds were comfy. Located close to everywhere we needed to be that weekend.
Would love to have had things mentioned to us at check in that were listed in the room description on the website such as the breakfast option and shown where the spa was etc
Thank you for having us =)"

Very Good
AAnonymous UserThe room itself is very old, the windows were also poorly cleaned. However the rest of the hotel is nice and updated including the spa and pool area. Overall it was a decent stay, however I would only go back for the spa and not stay there again.
LLikehaiyangThe hotel's location is excellent, very close to the University of Auckland. After taking a taxi from the airport to Waitemata Station, it's about a four or five-stop bus ride from Britomart, and the bus stop is right across from the hotel. There are many bus stops nearby, making it convenient to get anywhere. Check-in was very smooth; even though there were a lot of people checking in that afternoon, it was well-organized and efficient overall. The front desk staff were also very friendly and even asked if I had stayed at their hotel before. I mentioned I had been to Cordis Beijing Capital Airport previously, but this was my first time here. Upon entering, I noticed the hotel's signature scent, which was indeed identical to the one at Cordis Beijing Capital Airport. The room facilities were all great, the mattress was very comfortable, and there were plenty of charging outlets. The hotel's Wi-Fi was also very fast. The toiletries were of high quality with a pleasant scent, and since the weather was dry in autumn, applying some body lotion made me feel very comfortable. Cordis hotels are known for their breakfast, and the restaurant in the morning certainly offered a wide variety of delicious-looking options. Perhaps due to jet lag, my stomach still thought it was 4 or 5 AM after I finished eating, so I didn't eat much. All in all, this booking on Trip.com offered excellent value for money, and this comfortable trip made me very happy and relaxed.
GGuest UserA family of four for two nights.
We booked two rooms - the hotel didn’t arrange our rooms next to each other, but quite far apart ☹️
Room setting is so comfy - spacious room and bed 🙂 one of the room is city view and the other is harbour view.
Breakfast is recommended - coffee is good; family loves the beef noodles.
DDeevanyah FrostWe just had an unexpectedly delightful experience at the Waiheke Island Motel, so much so that we added another night because we simply couldn't get enough of the place! Our stay began with a minor hitch: arriving late in the evening to find our pre-booked studio room was locked. However, the way the night manager and the team handled this was truly remarkable. They quickly resolved the issue by giving us a significant, stress-free upgrade to a spacious whole house with four bedrooms instead of our original studio. This immediate, generous response demonstrated exceptional hospitality and turned a potential frustration into the highlight of our trip. The motel's location is ideal; it offers a wonderfully quiet and peaceful atmosphere, yet it's in very close proximity to both the shops and the beach. We appreciated the on-site pool and the spa options, and the minute's walk down to the community Saturday market was a fantastic bonus. Our only piece of constructive feedback relates to the spa itself—unfortunately, the cleanliness was not up to standard, which was a slight disappointment. Despite the minor issue with the spa, the exceptional service, comfortable accommodation, and prime location mean we had a fantastic trip. Crucially, the price was quite reasonably priced compared to other places on Waiheke, offering excellent value for money. We will definitely return to Waiheke Island Motel!
GGuest UserI recently stayed at Waitakere Resort & Spa for one night, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The resort is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by beautiful native bush and stunning views that make the whole place feel like a relaxing escape from the city.
The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. Every interaction felt positive and professional, and they truly made me feel looked after. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-prepared, offering everything needed for a restful night.
The food was excellent — fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The dining area also has amazing views, making every meal feel special. The facilities were well maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the property is calm, serene, and very refreshing.
I loved the walking tracks, greenery, and peaceful environment. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, recharge, and enjoy nature. I honestly wish I could have stayed longer.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, great service, and a beautiful environment. I will definitely be returning!
DDaniel Michael WangI had a very enjoyable stay at Rendezvous Heritage Hotel Auckland. The location is excellent, right in the city center, making it easy to explore nearby attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas.
The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable bedding and all the essential amenities for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to unwind after a busy day in the city.
The hotel facilities were impressive, particularly the indoor and outdoor pools, gym, and sauna, which added extra value to the experience. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, ensuring a smooth check-in and overall pleasant stay.
While the decor may feel slightly dated in some areas, everything was well-kept and functional. Overall, it offers great value for money and is a solid choice for both business and leisure travelers visiting Auckland.
AAshily SunHad a wonderful birthday experience! I highly recommend staying here. The birthday decorations were my own, but I did receive a lovely card from the hotel. The Beef Wellington and service at The Grill were absolutely incredible. I can't recommend it enough! The service from the Sky City group is truly outstanding!!!
GGuest UserWe booked this hotel as we wanted to be north of Auckland as we’re planing a day trip up to The Bay of Islands. The room was very comfortable with all the amenities with in the room. Fully equipped bathroom, coffee machine, kettle & a big size fridge so we were able to store food we had bought.
No restaurant on site, tho excellent authentic Chinese restaurant across from the hotel. Also other variety of bars & restaurants within 5 - 10 min walk depending on what your preference.
We were very close to State highway 1, to head north & explore the area as we wanted to.
GGuest UserThis is an older hotel, and while the facilities are a bit dated, the environment is very pleasant. Our window directly overlooked Albert Park, and what's great is that the window could be opened slightly, which made for excellent ventilation. The hotel breakfast was also good. Unfortunately, because I wasn't sure if the stay would be comfortable, I only booked 2 nights initially. When I tried to book a third night, the hotel was fully booked, so I had to switch to a different hotel. I requested a late check-out, and that was quickly arranged.
VVanessa 王A very cost-effective living option. We brought two babies and booked a 90-square-meter two-bedroom, one-living room apartment. The floor-to-ceiling windows are basically full of sea views, and the balcony is also full of sea views. It is very convenient to walk to the beach. It is suitable for families with children, friends gatherings, client receptions, etc. They are all independent houses with good privacy. The most important thing is that the price of 340 New Zealand dollars also includes breakfast for our family of four. The breakfast is also good and worth experiencing. It is very convenient to drive to Auckland in an hour. Suggestion: If the kitchen can be equipped with more pots and stoves, it will be more suitable for staying for a few days.
