We had the great pleasure of spending several days at the beautiful Villa Castellane in France, and we were impressed by the stylish yet warm atmosphere as soon as we arrived. The hotel perfectly combines elegance and comfort—you immediately feel welcome and well taken care of. The rooms are tastefully furnished, very clean, and offer everything you need for a relaxing stay. They are spacious and equipped with a small kitchen. The hotel's location is also ideal for exploring the charming surroundings of beautiful Provence while enjoying a peaceful retreat.
We would particularly like to highlight the evening service in the hotel's restaurant, and especially Carla!
Carla immediately put a smile on our faces with her open, warm French manner. She is not only incredibly friendly, but also highly professional and clearly passionate about her work. She accompanied us through the evening with great attention and served us a fantastic dinner. Each course was not only a culinary delight, but was also presented by her with great charm and friendliness.
It is clear that Carla loves her job and is connected to her homeland. She wants to give her guests a sense of her homeland. This personal commitment enriched our stay in a way that is not often experienced.
The culinary experience itself was also outstanding: fresh, high-quality ingredients, creative compositions, and perfectly balanced flavors—accompanied by a wonderful selection of wines. Everything seemed to be thought out down to the last detail and prepared with a love for the craft.
Overall, our stay at Villa Castellane was perfect from start to finish. A beautiful house, a great team, and service that comes from the heart. We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to seeing Carla again. :-)
Nice place, Breakfast is good, friendly stuff
Not all stuff speak English, Room wasn't so clean (some human hair in bathroom), Room service is available upon request.
Excellent hotel for small family with an early flight.
Booked a triple room for an unbelievable low price.
King size bed was super comfortable.
The sofa bed was already made into very nice, comfortable bed. The room was outfitted with everything you could want and impeccably clean.
The only down side was that room was a little warm and windows cannot be opened and air conditioning was not operational, presumably because it was April.
We checked in late and left early, so wasn’t able to take advantage of any hotel amenities. But the lobby and restaurant looked neat and modern.
Check in and out were easy and efficient.

This Aparthotel is so beautiful! After one night stay I’ve decided to come back here with my family for a holiday next summer. Because Marseille is also over my expectation 😃
Room is cozy and clean. bed is comfortable. Kitchenette is fully equipped. Half moon floor to ceiling window can be opened for fresh sea breeze. Reception is friendly and efficient.
This is the first time I have encountered such service. The hotel was obviously overbooked. When we arrived, they told us there were no rooms. They temporarily arranged for us to go to another hotel, and they lied to us that it was very close. In the end, it took more than 40 minutes. We were also not told that the alternative hotel was reserved by a wedding and had no services or facilities and was very noisy all night. The only thing to be thankful for is Ctrip's ability to handle problems!
We already know the hotel and it is always a pleasure. Location, the pdj, the rest, the staff in the small care. Really a stay that makes good to moral. The spa is a very nice

The hotel proactively upgraded our room. After we checked in and stored our luggage, we went out for some shopping. When we returned, the front desk staff had changed shifts, and they told us they couldn't find our reservation in the system. I broke out in a cold sweat! We explained that we had already checked in and our luggage was stored there. Fortunately, an experienced staff member nearby opened a drawer, pulled out our room key, and informed us that our room had been upgraded.
The hotel is about 2 kilometers from the train station, a 20-minute walk. Ubers were relatively scarce that morning, so I had to wait for the train. The hotel said on the wall that taxis must be booked 24 hours in advance, so I ended up walking there.
Free maps are available at the front desk; the circled areas indicate the hotel's location.
The rooms were clean, but the hand soap was hanging on the wall in the shower in my room, while the shampoo and shower gel were located by the sink, making them inconvenient. I couldn't find a kettle, but there was a coffee machine.

GGuest UserSpectacular hotel, excellent location right on the Promenade de Anglais so sea is just on the front. Staff is extremely helpful, the room was clean with good amenities. Would definitely recommend.
Breakfast options were good but i missed a coffee machine - only brewed coffee available with milk on the side
Also upon check in you will need to pay 100eur deposit, which I was not aware of at first, but maybe it was just me not checking thoroughly. Upon check out it was refunded within 10-15mins
AAnonymous UserWe had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, which made our visit particularly relaxing. We also appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the quality of the bedding.
The staff were welcoming and professional.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. The only bemol in our eyes is the total lack of window isolation. We heard the noise of the street the same thing, fortunately, it is not a too noisy street. The laundry washing machine is a little short to get your hands down, but there's everything you need in the bathroom. Excellent price quality, at least for the period or we came.

GGuest UserEverything was marvellous especially spastian duty manager who solved our very late check in .Great location except some reception staff who were ignoring our welcome till Duty manager Spastian upgraded our stay thanks to the lovely team in restaurant ❤️❤️❤️great stay
RRachel T.I loved my stay here! The staff were warm and helpful which made for a great experience. It's literally across the road from the beach so it's just a quick walk to reach the sea. Its excellent location also means that there are a wide variety of food options within walking distance even if you don't drive. Would love to be back again!
GGuest UserThe owner and host Pascal is very warm, eager to please, excitable and very outgoing. There is a happy hour for guests and Pascal everyday and it is nice to make friends with other guests. A very nice breakfast is good included daily. A short 5-8 minute drive to the lovely but crowded town of L'Isle sur la Sorgue. Pascal helped us book last minute dinner reservations in L'isle sur la Sorgue, which isn't easy to do last minute in September. We especially enjoyed Le Jardin du Quai. Only a four course with no choices at 52 Euros pp. We enjoyed it so much we ate there our last two nights.
The ”resort” is in an old Carmelite building that has had refurbishment. It is more rustic Provencal than contemporary. There is an outside covered fairly extensive exercise room, a nice pool, and a very peaceful feel outside on the property. The bees at breakfast were bothersome but nobody got stung and they seemed benign.
The clientele was international, but more than 1/2 French. Pascal speaks and understands English well.
Les Carmes is quite different than most other places in the region. It reminds me a bit of the Golden ages of travel in the 1950s. It is the opposite of sterile and has a real heart and center.
GGuest UserGreat hotel and location but not necessarily a 5 star service for reasons as follows:
1. It took 6 hours for our luggage to be taken to our room (it was only 2 rucksacks) which we would have happily carried up to our room ourselves but they insisted on check-in for us to leave for them to do.
2. The rudest restaurant hostess Valentine we have ever met in our many years of travelling and dining - when my husband asked to book a table for dinner, she failed to look up from her notepad and barked loudly and aggressively the words ‘WHAT?’ at him.
3. Restaurant clearly understaffed in the evening and being carried by a few superb waiting staff, namely Ken, whilst others swan around busy with little impact. Food was great and timely (once you could order it).
4. Tried to order a bottle of wine with dinner - Two of the four white wines on the menu were out of stock.
Clearly some teething issues with this new hotel, understaffed and poor communication and training. A few excellent staff too. But seemed to lack any meaningful or visible leadership in key client facing areas, which the brigade seemed to need.
GGuest UserWhile everything was quite nice, somehow I don’t feel like raving about it. Maybe because compared with the experience, the price wasn’t good value. Lack of amenities. Lack of sense of hospitality. Also my room, although upgrade to a “junior suite?”, was north facing which was quite a bummer. I want the sun!
