Tang Shaofu Baigong Temple Review

After visiting Shantang Old Street, I was going to forage. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was also a Baijuyi Memorial Garden. Someone inscribed a poem in the name of the garden. After going around, I could see the bronze statue of Baijuyi. Many tourists were taking pictures with the bronze statue. You can see Bai Juyi's introduction here, but the commercial atmosphere is very strong, breaking the literary atmosphere.

Suzhou in memory of the great poet Bai Juyi of the Tang Dynasty built Qili Mountain Tang, Tang Shaofu Gong's Temple built on Shantang Street during Qing Jiaqing years was destroyed in the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom years, and the site was rebuilt. The free attractions are worth a visit.

It rises from the east near the Anal Duseng Bridge, and west to the Huqiu Wangshan Bridge, which is about 3,600 meters long. It is commonly known as "Qilishantang to Huqiu". This river connects the Anal with the canal. Build an embankment next to the river pond, that is, Shantang Street. The excavation of the Shantang River and the construction of Shantang Street greatly facilitated irrigation and transportation, and this area became a lively and prosperous market. Suzhou people were very grateful to Bai Juyi. After he left office, the people called Shantang Street Baigongdi and built Baigong Temple to commemorate it.

白居易纪念馆位于苏州市区，是个很有特色的地方。

苏州为纪念唐代大诗人白居易修筑七里山塘，清嘉庆年间山塘街上就修建有唐少傅白公祠，后毁于太平天国年间。2006年修建的白居易纪念馆位于渡僧桥附近，成为游客走进山塘的第一个景点。为了方便游客了解白居易与山塘乃至苏州的渊源，扩大白居易纪念馆的旅游价值，有关部门对馆内原有陈设重新布置：增添白居易生平介绍，又把白居易在山塘、苏州的生活场景以石雕连环画的形式表现出来，“沿用唐少傅白公祠的旧名，更能完整体现白居易的一生，对慕名而来的游客来说，更值得一看”。
