Lake Dyersford was built in 1929, although the idea was born in the 1890s. When you come here today, you will find it has parking...and beautiful paths by the lake.     Daylesford is a beautiful country town a couple of hours from Melbourne. Well worth a few days exploring the countryside - restaurants, wineries, spas, water springs etc. You'll probably need a car to get around though.
