I tried the beef hotpot at Quan Bui - Original. The broth was delicious, the beef was tender, and the rice noodles and vegetables were also generous. It was a wonderful dining experience!

For an authentic Vietnamese dining experience in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, Quán Bụi Original is a fantastic choice. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt transported into a traditional Vietnamese home. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with glowing Vietnamese lanterns that cast a warm, inviting light over the classic wooden furniture, creating a cosy and elegant atmosphere that's perfect for a relaxed dinner.
The menu celebrates local Vietnamese flavours, and every dish I tried showcased the freshness and balance that Vietnamese cuisine is known for. 

One of my favourites was the pork balls stuffed with crab filling—juicy, savoury, and packed with sweet crab meat in every bite.

The fried Vietnamese spring rolls arrived perfectly golden and crispy, while the bánh xèo, Vietnam's iconic savoury pancake, was thin and wonderfully crisp, filled with delicious ingredients that paired perfectly with fresh herbs and dipping sauce.

The grilled chicken was smoky, tender, and well-marinated, making it a comforting classic. To balance the meal, I also ordered the stir-fried Tonkin jasmine greens, which were fresh, lightly seasoned, and a great accompaniment to the richer dishes.

One unexpected highlight of the evening was the signature drink, TRÀ LÀI ĐÁC THƠM. This refreshing blend combines fragrant jasmine tea with chewy palm seeds, honey, kumquat, and a touch of simple syrup. The citrusy aroma from the kumquat complemented the floral jasmine tea beautifully, while the palm seeds added a fun, unique texture that made every sip enjoyable.

With its welcoming ambience, traditional décor, and authentic Vietnamese dishes prepared with care, Quán Bụi Original offers more than just a meal—it delivers a memorable cultural dining experience. One of the best places we ate at in Saigon. Amazing pork with egg, greens, must orders! Springs roll platter was lovely also & the ginger chicken was nice. Just avoid the fish, weirdly cooker and not good quality. Also a nice ambiance inside the restaurant, and serves healthy fresh juices.

Recommend this place. It's worth a try!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
