The lamb shank was the best thing I ordered. Oven-baked, fell right off the bone. Mixed grill was huge too, decent quality. Staff cracked a few jokes, fine. Didn't care much about the place itself, but the meat did the job.

Solid Hessian spot in Kassel. Weckewerk and Ahle Wurst platter were really good. Service was friendly, made us feel welcome. Place is a bit cramped and noisy though. Food quality makes up for that. Would come back for the Weckewerk alone.

The restaurant has a cozy vibe and offers a wide selection of dishes. The schnitzel was delicious and reasonably priced, making it a great dining experience.

Came here late with a couple of friends and only tried the pinse. They were really good, crispy and fresh. The terrace looked nice, wish we had more time to sit outside. Place has a chill vibe, good for hanging out. Staff was friendly too. Maybe next time I’ll come earlier to try more stuff 😊

Nice tapas spot right by the river. Sat outside, bit of street noise but fine. Service was quick. Book ahead though, place fills up fast.

Stopped by after the museum visit. Food was decent, nothing more. Schnitzel was fine, but for the portion size the price felt a bit steep. Service friendly enough, just not fast. Location is the main draw, right in the center. If you're nearby and hungry, it works. Wouldn't go out of my way for it though.

The pasta and tuna carpaccio were really good, no complaints there. Place gets busy fast, and you can tell the staff gets stretched thin—we waited a bit for the bill. Still, food came out hot and fresh. I'd go back for the carpaccio alone.

Stopped by for a quick dinner with a friend and honestly loved the vibe. Wooden tables, kinda old-school but in a cozy way. Service was super chill, not hovering over us which I appreciate. Food was solid, nothing crazy but hit the spot. Place felt like a little hideaway 😊 Would come back if I’m in the area again.

The place has a nice vibe, old building with some character. Sat outside, weather was good so that worked out. Pizza was solid, tiramisu even better. Service was okay, nothing special but fine. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

Been coming here for a while now, mostly for breakfast. Still think their eggs are done just right, every single time. Place gets packed on weekends, so we always book. Tables are a bit tight, but honestly, you forget about that once the coffee hits the table. Just a solid, dependable spot.

The beer garden out back is really charming, perfect for a relaxed afternoon. Service was friendly and the homemade cakes are worth trying. Just wish they had a few more comfortable seats.

Cocktails were solid and priced right. Staff friendly enough. Wish they'd mark vegan options on the menu though.

Steak was solid, cooked just right. Burger's good too, probably the best quick lunch spot around here. Portion size is decent for the price.

The green pepper steak was solid and the Mandus Primitivo paired nicely. Wine list is small but decent. Liked the warm, authentic decor—felt cozy without trying too hard. Good spot in Göttingen.

We stopped by for a quick dinner before catching our train. Service was friendly and fast, which I really appreciated. The location is perfect, just a few minutes from the station. Food was decent, nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. My only small gripe, the seating felt a bit cramped. Still, a solid pick if you want something easy and close by.

The Käsespätzle was a solid pick—big portion for the price, easily enough for two. Our table of 10 ordered different stuff and nobody complained.

The Americano Breakfast did the job — solid portions, decent coffee. Staff swapped bacon for cheese without any fuss. Fine spot for a quiet morning bite.

Came here on a weekday afternoon, mostly to get some work done. Lounge area is pretty comfy, wifi worked fine. Had a coffee and a small bite, nothing fancy but it did the job. Place wasn't too busy, so it was quiet enough to focus. Fine spot if you just need a casual break or somewhere to sit for a bit.

The five-course beer dinner was solid. Each pairing actually worked, and the staff knew their stuff. Price felt fair for what you got.

The tasting menu really impressed me — every dish felt carefully put together. I especially loved the way the flavors built up course after course. Wine pairings matched nicely too, not too heavy. Only tiny downside: it took a while between courses, but honestly gave us time to chat. Would come back for a special occasion.

Lovely old building, proper German food. Service was attentive, didn't have to wait long. Fair prices for the center. Just wish the room wasn't quite so warm.

The sushi quality surprised me for an all-you-can-eat spot. Flambéed sushi and tofu pouch were the standouts. Portions are pretty small though, so you end up ordering a lot of rounds. Still, it's decent for the price. I'd probably come back if I'm in the area and craving sushi.

The pasta was cooked right, and the tiramisu tasted like they actually make it in-house. Portion size is decent for the price, which is rare around here. The open kitchen makes the place feel a bit more modern than your typical Italian spot. I'd go back if I'm in the area again.

Been coming here for a while now. Flammkuchen’s still solid, crispy edges, good toppings. Staff knows what they’re doing, friendly without hovering. Only thing, it gets a bit drafty inside when it’s cold out. Not a dealbreaker, just bring a jacket. Consistent spot for a casual bite, that’s why I keep going back.

The food was decent, really flavorful. Service lagged a bit though—took a while to get the menu and then our order. Still, the meal itself made up for it.

Tried the chef’s tasting menu — sushi and short rib were the standouts. Service stayed attentive the whole evening. Pricey, but you can see where the money goes.

Solid pasta, grilled stuff was on point too. Wine list decent for the price. Service drags a bit when it's packed though.

The terrace is really something — big enough for our whole group without feeling cramped. Owner came by to check on us, friendly guy. Food was solid, though nothing mind-blowing.
