We ordered a few local dishes and everything came out pretty solid. Staff was friendly, helped us with the English menu without any fuss. I asked for apple strudel but got lemon instead &mdash; still tasty, just not what I had in mind. Prices felt fair for the portion size. Wouldn&#39;t mind coming back to try more.

The terrace view alone is worth stopping for&mdash;those peaks right in front of you while you eat. Food&rsquo;s solid, hearty mountain stuff, nothing fancy. Had a glass of local white with the schnitzel, worked well enough. Prices are steep, but that&rsquo;s the altitude tax, I guess. Fine for a one-off lunch stop.

The rooms here are genuinely spacious, and waking up to that glacier view from the bed was something else. Alpine decor fits the setting perfectly. Bed was firm in the right way&mdash;slept like a log after a long day outside. Only wish the minibar had a better local wine selection. A Gr&uuml;ner Veltliner would&#39;ve been a nice touch.

Lamb was spot on, tender and still juicy. Portion size decent for the price, which is rare around here. Place is easy to miss, tucked away near the glacier road. Had to wait a bit for the bill, but honestly didn&#39;t care. Would eat that again after a day up on the mountain.

Stayed here for two nights. Location is a bit out of the center, but tram stop is literally outside the door. Room was clean, modern enough. Staff sorted an extra pillow without fuss. That was about it. Fine for a short business trip, nothing more. If you need to be in the old town, factor in the commute.

Goulash and roast pork with dumpling were solid, well-priced. Waitress efficient, no fuss. Place is off the tourist path, which suits me fine.

Lunch menu is honestly the way to go here. Portions are generous, I had the Gyros Pfanne and it was plenty. Took half of it home. The salad that comes with it was fresh too. Dinner prices seem a bit steep compared to what you get at lunch, but the food itself is decent. Service was friendly enough, didn&#39;t have to wait long.
