Octopus salad was fresh, fish cooked just right. Apple pie homemade, solid finish. Bit pricey but the view kinda makes up for it.

The grilled fish was spot on — crispy skin, flesh still moist inside. Ordered the sea bass and it came out exactly like that. Price felt fair for what you get. Place was busy but service kept up fine. Solid choice if you're after simple, well-cooked fish.

Tucked away from the main road, but honestly the drive was fine. We came for a casual catch-up and the steak was spot on. Quiet enough to actually hear each other talk. Just don't forget cash, they don't take cards.

Sat outside under the grapevines, that was the best part. Pizza was decent, crust had a nice chew. House wine was fine for the price. Service was quick, maybe a little too quick, but no complaints really. A pretty good spot for a relaxed evening.

Busy when we went but the staff kept things moving. Spaghetti was solid, lamb chops even better. Cocktails did the job. Good spot if you're in Split.

Dropped by for a weekday lunch, got the tasting menu with wine pairing. Local wines were the highlight, really matched the food well. Portions are decent for the price, nothing fancy but solid. Place was a bit quiet though, felt almost empty. Still, good spot if you're in the area and want a proper sit-down meal without breaking the bank.

The tasting menu was solid, and they handled my dietary restrictions without making a fuss. Nice to see a kitchen that actually cares about that stuff.

Came here off-season without a booking and got a table right away. Staff knew their stuff and even told us a bit about the building's history. Cool spot.

Stopped by the new spot with a couple of friends and honestly the tuna tataki was the highlight—so fresh and light. We also grabbed the seafood pasta which was solid. Place was pretty packed but we still had a good time hanging out. Would come back for the food alone.

Been coming here for a while now, and the grilled octopus is still my go-to. Cooked just right, not rubbery at all. Portion's decent for the price too. Fish soup was good last time, though I wish they'd bring back that corn bread faster—it's always gone in minutes. Place gets busy, but that's a good sign I guess.

Lovely courtyard spot with proper tablecloths and attentive staff. Food was solid traditional fare, just as pictured.

Stumbled onto this place by accident and the prawn pasta got me hooked. Gluten-free options are actually decent here, which is rare to find. Sat on the terrace, nice shade, no complaints. Service was friendly too. Would come back just for that pasta again.

Salt-crusted fish came to the table and they cracked it open right in front of us. Took 25 minutes but honestly worth it. The bread and dips they bring out while you wait helped. Fish was juicy, not dry at all. Good spot for a proper lunch if you're not in a huge rush.

Came here with a couple of friends and we basically ordered half the menu 😅 burgers were solid, the tagliatelle with shrimps was my favorite though. Tuna steak was cooked just right too. The view over the sea and mountains is honestly the main reason to go—we ended up staying way longer than planned just staring at it. Prices are a bit higher but you're paying for that scenery.

The waiter knew the menu inside out and even poured us a free kombucha sample. That personal touch without hovering—rare. Food was solid, nothing crazy, but the service alone makes me want to come back. Place is easy to find too, right off the main strip.

Came for dinner, no reservation but got lucky with a table by the water. Tuna portion was solid, and the seafood platter for one came out grilled just right. That view of the monastery doesn't hurt either.

The staff remembered our anniversary without us even mentioning it and sent us off with a warm goodbye. Really thoughtful touch that made the evening feel personal.

The grilled trout was the only thing that mattered to me. Fresh, perfectly salted, crispy skin. Came with boiled potatoes and chard. Simple, no fuss. Portion was decent for the price. I didn't care about the terrace or the staff, but the fish itself was spot on. Would order that again.

We kept coming back to this place during our week here — four times, actually. The food stayed consistent every single time, which is rare. That homemade bread they bring out with the amuse-bouche? Probably my favorite part. Simple, but it hit the spot. Wish I’d found it earlier in the trip, honestly.

The whole no-menu thing works so well here. Monique met us at the car and just led us through the garden. Even when a thunderstorm rolled in, the vibe stayed warm and intimate. Fresh food kept coming, no fuss. Left feeling full and oddly calm. Just a lovely, unpretentious spot.

Mixed grill was solid — well-seasoned, plenty of meat. Place was full of locals, which I always take as a good sign. Tucked away in a quiet spot, maybe 10-15 min from old town. Nothing fancy, but the vibe felt right. Just wish they’d had more staff on, took a while to get the bill.

Came here twice during our stay, left stuffed both times. The staff were friendly and the food came quick. Nice wine list too, paired well with the seafood.

Stopped by for lunch — grilled fish was solid, well seasoned. Owner handled the order quick, no fuss. Decent spot if you're nearby and want something simple.

The terrace view is really lovely, and the cave part has this cool vibe you don't see every day. I ordered the grilled calamari but it came out fried instead—not a big deal, still tasted decent. Just wish they'd gotten the order right, but the setting kinda made up for it.

Stopped by for a burger in the old town—place has a shaded courtyard, which was a nice break from the sun. Burger was big, definitely filling. Price was fair for the size, I’ll give them that. Staff were friendly enough. Only thing: cash only, so make sure you’ve got some on you. Not a bad stop if you’re hungry.

Tucked away from the main street, good for a quiet lunch. Bruschetta was different than last time but still tasty.

The bruschetta with gorgonzola, pear, and honey was really good, and the beef cheeks just fell apart. Our waiter even picked up an electric guitar mid-service, which was a fun little surprise. Nothing fancy, but comfortable. Only thing—the place got a bit loud later on, but I didn't mind much. Would sit outside next time maybe.

Cevapi here were solid—grilled right, juicy, and the portion was big enough that I didn’t need anything else. Prices are lower than most places around, which surprised me for the quality. I’d go back just for that. Maybe skip the burgers, stick to the cevapi.

The chili noodles had a proper kick, not the fake kind. I ordered the beef version, broth was deep and the noodles held up well. Staff managed our group of 11 without a mess, which surprised me. Only thing, the place got a bit loud. But the food did the talking.

Came here on a whim and honestly the seafood pizza did it for me. Crust had that nice char, toppings were generous. Price felt alright too, way better than the stuff near the harbor. Place was a bit busy but whatever, food came quick enough.
