The menu’s not huge but it covers the basics well. I ordered the pasta and honestly the portion was decent for the price. My friend asked for gluten-free and they handled it without any drama. That alone makes me want to come back. Just wish they had a few more dessert options, but not a dealbreaker.

We stopped here on a whim and honestly the white sausages were the highlight. Cozy spot, easy to just hang out. Got there on foot, not on a bike like half the other people. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Came here on a regular weekday evening. Seafood pizza had plenty of toppings, crust was thin and crunchy the way I like it. Two beers plus a pizza, around 18 euros, that's fair for the area. Only downside, service gets a bit slow when it's busy. Not a fancy place, but solid enough.

Came here with the family. Food was solid, staff friendly enough. Nothing fancy but it worked for a relaxed evening. Service was decent, not too slow. Prices fair for what you get. Would come back if we're in the area again.

We stopped by for dinner and I had the Sauerbraten, which was pretty good. The chicken liver was decent too. Nice that they had alcohol-free beer, not always easy to find. Waiter was friendly even though the place was busy. Fine spot if you're in the area.

Came here three times over the weekend, always left happy. Food's solid, staff friendly every single visit. Definitely my go-to spot in Plauen now.

Been coming here for a while now. The dark bock is still my go-to, and the Schäufele holds up every time. Just wish they’d add a couple more veggie sides.

Walked in without expecting much, but the staff were so welcoming right away. I tried the weekly special — fish dish was fresh, nicely plated. Like that they switch the menu often, keeps it interesting. Maybe a bit busy at lunch, but fine. Would come back to see what they change next.

The food here is genuinely tasty and pretty authentic, no complaints on flavor. But twice now, some dishes came out lukewarm, which is a bit annoying when you're mid-meal. Service was friendly enough, and prices are fair for what you get. Just wish they'd pay more attention to getting plates out hot.

Solid diner spot. Burger was tasty, though the patty was a bit salty for me. Portion size was generous for the price though.

The bread with herb-garlic butter was a nice touch while we waited. Steak and ribs had good flavor, pizza was just okay. Nothing fancy but solid.

We grabbed the braised ox cheeks off the specials board and honestly, that was the smartest move. Portion was decent for the price, which is rare around here. The private room was a bonus, but I’m still thinking about those cheeks. Would go back just for that dish.

Everything very good. Good delicious and great service! We can recommend the restaurant very much.

Went in without expectations, left pleasantly surprised. The place has that classic steakhouse vibe, dark wood, warm lighting. Service was on point, didn't have to wait long for anything. Portions are solid, got the ribeye and it was cooked properly. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but you're paying for the atmosphere too. Fine for a casual dinner.

Nice terrace to sit after the spa, view over the gardens is decent. Food was good, nothing fancy but tasty. Service friendly enough. Prices though... a bit steep for what you get. Fine for a one-off, but not somewhere I'd go regularly.

Stopped here after skiing, right by the gondola so super convenient. Had the shashlik, meat was juicy, fried potatoes crispy. Service friendly, didn't wait long. Only thing, it's a bit pricey for what you get, but that's normal near the slopes I guess. Solid choice if you're in the area.

Stopped by for a late lunch on Maxplatz—decent spot, nothing fancy. Had a nice glass of Riesling with my meal, which made it better. Service was friendly enough, though it took a moment to get the bill.

The poached carp with horseradish and potatoes was solid—€18.50 felt fair for the portion. Old-school dining room, a bit quiet for my taste, but the house white worked well with it.

The schnitzel was solid. Crispy, not greasy, and the potato salad had a nice tang. Portion size was decent for the price. Just remember they only take cash, which caught me off guard. I'd come back for the food alone.

We've been regulars here for a long time now. The food is consistently good, always well-prepared. Service is friendly without being pushy, which I appreciate. Portions are decent too. It's just a reliable spot where you can have a nice meal without any hassle. That's really all I need sometimes.

We stopped by for dinner on a Tuesday. Place has that proper Erzgebirge feel, wood everywhere. Service was friendly, no complaints there. Food came out fast, which was nice. Had the schnitzel, it was decent. Menu's not huge, but that's fine. Better than the hotel buffet down the street, that's for sure.

Small menu but everything we ordered was fresh and tasted great. Prices felt fair for the quality. Service was attentive without hovering. Really comfortable spot.

The tapas were solid and the staff friendly, but €80 for 9 plates plus 4 drinks? Felt a bit steep. Enjoyed the food, though a decent wine by the glass would've helped justify the bill.

Came for dinner, left pretty impressed. The food was solid, nothing over the top, but the service really stood out. Staff was chill, let us take our time. Definitely one of the better meals I had on this trip. Place was a bit busy but that didn't bother me much.

Solid spot for fish and dry-aged beef. Menu's got some thought behind it. Place looks nice, well kept. Food quality was on point, no complaints there. Just wish I had more room to try everything.

The seasonal dishes were spot on, especially the regional ones. Presentation looked clean, flavors came through nicely. Chef definitely knows what they're doing in the kitchen.

The schnitzel here was spot on. Crispy, not greasy, and the meat stayed juicy. Portion size is decent for the price. I didn't pay much attention to the room or anything else, just focused on the food. It's a small menu, but what they do, they do right. Would come back for that schnitzel alone.

The outdoor seating’s the main draw here, and the Weizenbier never disappoints. One of Hof’s oldest beer gardens, always a solid stop.

The set menu’s a solid deal—soup, main, dessert for a fair price. Boiled beef with horseradish sauce was properly seasoned, really hit the spot. Nothing fancy, but the flavors were clean and honest. Portion size felt right too. I’d take that over a fussy tasting menu any day.
