The view over the vineyard is honestly the main reason to come here. We grabbed a bottle of wine and just sat outside for hours, chatting. Staff were friendly too, not pushy at all. Only thing is the wine list is a bit pricey, but for the setting it kind of makes sense. Nice spot for a chill afternoon with friends 🌿

The 4-course menu was solid, especially the veal and that modern kremšnita twist. Just don't come starving, it's proper slow food 😅

Big portions, and the flavors were solid. I liked that they didn't skimp on the veggies. Just wish the greens had been a bit fresher.

Gluten-free pizza dough that actually holds up? Didn't think I'd find that here. Properly risen, crispy edges, and it didn't taste like cardboard. I had it with a glass of their house red, which worked better than I expected. My only gripe—the crust got a bit soggy toward the middle. Still, for GF options, this is a solid spot.

The terrace view is really something else in summer. Food's typical Slovenian, nothing fancy but it hits the spot. Place handles big groups well.

Room was a bit small but the bed was comfy and the shower worked well. Second floor patio in the back was nice for a quiet evening drink. Location really is the best part though—five minutes from the train station and everything else. Didn't spend much time in the room anyway.

Stumbled onto this place while wandering the old town. Got the beef tartare with bone marrow — that combo really works. Meat menu in general looks solid. Staff spoke English fine, which helped since my Slovenian is basically nonexistent. Cozy vibe inside, nothing fancy but comfortable. Would go back to try the other stuff.

Came here with a couple of friends and we all left happy. The goose was super tender, exactly what I needed on a chilly evening. Service was friendly too, not pushy at all. Place gets busy later so I’d say go early if you want a chill vibe. Definitely coming back for the deer next time 🍂

The four cheese pizza was solid—cheese actually pulled properly, crust held up. Tomato sauce gnocchi worked too, simple and filling. Place itself felt a bit cramped though, tables close together. Not a big deal for a quick meal. Wouldn't mind stopping by again if I'm nearby.

The cheesecake here is seriously good—probably the best I've had in Maribor. Cozy spot, staff was nice. Slightly pricey but I'd still come back for that slice.

Nice spot for a quick bite. Got the schnitzel, portion was solid and came out fast. Terrace is fine but street side gets noisy. Good enough for lunch.

The food was solid — good quality and plenty of it. Had the beef, cooked right. Nothing fancy about the room, but who cares.

The tasting menu hit hard with bold flavors, though things slowed down a bit after the surf-and-turf. Solid meal inside that castle setting.

The fried chicken salad was crispy and the greens underneath were fresh. Garlic soup hit the spot too. Portion was solid for what you pay.

The beef tartare was the standout. Fresh, properly seasoned, not overdressed. Wine pairing matched well, especially the red with the lamb. Terrace view is nice but honestly I barely noticed it. Food did the talking. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price. Solid spot if you care about the cooking itself.

Pizza was solid. Crust had that proper chew, sauce actually tasted like tomatoes. Had the pasta too, cooked right. Best in Celje? Maybe. Service didn't bother me, I was too busy eating. Place gets busy around noon, so go early if you want a table fast. Prices fair for what you get.

The mixed grill ribs were properly tender, that smoky char taste stayed with me. Staff friendly enough, no complaints there. Some of the steaks though came out dry, which was a bit of a letdown. Still, for a casual dinner it did the job. Nothing fancy, just solid.

The Sacherwurst with fresh bread roll and horseradish hit the spot. Simple but done right. Only thing—the bill came out a bit higher than what the menu said. Nothing crazy, just a few euros. Still, I’d go back for that sausage again.

Stopped here mid bike ride and honestly such a lucky find. Had the schnitzel, it was crispy and huge. Place is small but cozy, exactly what you need after cycling for hours. Only thing, service was a bit slow but they were packed. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The tasting menu was pretty good — creative without being fussy. Vegetarian options were handled well, which is often a weak point elsewhere. Wine pairings matched nicely, especially with the lighter courses. Service was attentive but not hovering. Only minor thing: pacing felt a bit quick between courses. Still, a decent spot for a proper dinner.

The staff wrapped our leftovers without us even asking, which I thought was really thoughtful. We were just finishing up and they came over with the box already. Service like that makes a difference. Food was decent too, but honestly the attention to that little detail stuck with me more than anything else.

The ribs were solid, honestly some of the best I’ve had. Steak was cooked right too. Service stayed quick even when it got busy. Portion sizes felt fair for what you pay.

Nice dairy-free cake with my coffee — not something you see every day around here. Quiet spot to sit and take your time. Staff knew what they were talking about when I asked for suggestions.

Pizza was pretty good, honestly up there with proper Italian spots. Service was quick too, which I appreciated. Solid option if you're in Zreče and don't want to overthink it.

Pizza and baked calamari were both fresh, tasty. Homemade dough and rolls—nice touch, didn’t expect that. Portions were solid, left full. Service was friendly, no complaints there. Quick enough for a lunch break, which is all I really ask for.

Great venue, very attentive staff, delicious food, terrific atmosphere and location. Will be back for sure.
